I just received this email...

Good morning ____,
_____was trying to tell me about a website that will help grow your hair. Can you please send it to me?

Thanks,
_______________

Part of me is amused because my DH really knows a lot about hair based on what he sees and hears from me but the other part is like :ohwell: because this woman is kind of sweet yet pushy. Also, I don't know how she will receive some of the advice on here (like MN, MTG, Megatek, Cowashing, etc.)

How he look referring people?:lachen:

He told another friend coworker that her ends looked damaged because she wears her hair down too much and it's rubbing against her clothes. :lachen:

Lawd help him.

LOL - I love it. At least he pays attention!!

But yeah, I get nervous about other people I know coming to this site just because if they're not open to trying new things and finding new information you never know how they will respond. But if she took that step then maybe there's hope!

That's too funny! At least he listens. My SO still tries to argue with me about hair. He swears his 'logical' sense is better than the facts and methods I've learned over the past year and a half! Are u gonna give it to her?

Yeah, after I hit the submit button I was like "oh shoot what if she sees my thread!"

...but I haven't responded to her yet. Maybe I'll refer her to one of the others:look: j/k.

My husband is a mess. I wonder how they even started talking about this.

That's what I was about to ask you, because it sounds like he's the "hair guru" of the office. :lachen:

Or so he thinks...when my T3 flatiron came in the mail he said, "why are you buying a flatiron when your not supposed to be using all that heat on your hair?"

LOL...He's really paying attention! I hope she'll like the board and would choose to stay, even though we have different types of hair practices, she can still benefit by learning what's good for her hair.

See, that's what you get for letting him know. That could have been your little secret. :giggle:

Now that's a good question.

:giggle: That's cute. Atleast he pays attention. I'm sure most of the ladies here have SO's that are like  when it comes to hair.

I would not. I would keep it a secret. My SO knows that I'm on a hair site everyday, but he doesn't know which one, and I'm gonna keep it that way. I don't need him sending people we know to get all in my business. One day they would figure out who I am, especially when I start posting pics.

I'm all in the relationship and other forums talking about stuff they don't need to know.

Send her somewhere else, that way this is still your secret. I would not want the small invasion of my privacy, that's how it would make me feel. My husband has a host of female friends that I am not familiar with and I bet they would love to be stalkin me, they already hate....my husband is in Ministry, yeah the demons are in the church-house! Amen.

Funny!! Next thing you know, your DH is gonna be going up to people asking them "Are you Nikko's cousin?!" :lachen:

He thought her hair looked a mess. :lachen::lachen: He was just trying to help a sister out considering he has all this hair knowledge.

Or so he thinks...when my T3 flatiron came in the mail he said, "why are you buying a flatiron when your not supposed to be using all that heat on your hair?"

This why I have my stuff sent to my office

:lachen: I'm mad he told someone her ends looked damaged!

Its pretty bad IMO when a MAN has to tell you a thing or two about your hair.

If thats the case then you REALLY need to take heed to his advice.
