I have attached a luck to a video that shows you how to make a home made one. I think the home made one is better.
My hair is in braids at the mo so i can't try this yet.
It looks good - no snagging or getting hair caught in the elastics.

Thanks for sharing this! I just tried it and it worked great. I have the hair bungees but didn't really like them because where the metal hook attaches to the elastic, the metal kinda juts out and I was scared that it would eventually snag my hair.

Imma try the bootleg one whenever I put my hair in a ponytail. But my hair really never looks messy in ponytails, but I will still try it.

Nope - I dont think I ever will either.

Or else you have fine hair that will not lay down, you don't need the salt water spray

I bought some of these! The pics are deceiving because when they came in the mail, they were SUPER tiny and I could do nothing with them! There was no way they could wrap around my hair for a ponytail even when it's wet. So now, they are just in my hair accessory drawer collecting dust.
