Does anyone know of some?? My old stylist used to use this great smelling exfoliating peppermint smelling conditioner and shampoo on my hair and I want some. My scalp used to feel so good after a wash and I cant find any. Somebody HELP! :(

Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Poo & Con combo...whew, the tingle will last for days!!! I love it...it always feels like air is coming from my scalp  This duo definitely cleanses hair and makes it squeaky clean, but I have NEVER had stripped hair from using these products. I add EVOO to the con and deep condition with it...I absolutely love it and very highly recommend it.

Hmmm...you just gave me an idea...perhaps I'll clarify this weekend...I need to use this stuff up anyway! :look:

Dark & Lovely makes a really nice peppermint shampoo. I believe it's called Peppermint Soothing Sensations, or something very similar.

EQP Scalp Stimulating Shampoo & Conditioner and the KeraCare Dry, Itchy Scalp line are great "tingling" products, also.

Design Essentials. I think someone just posted about buying a tub of this stuff. Fantasia also makes some tingling shampoos and conditioners. You could also buy your own peppermint oil and add it to your conditioners and leave ins.

I haven't used it on my hair ( I wash my body with it) but my boyfriend washes his hair with it all the time. Dr.Bronners peppermint soap. I "love" this stuff for my body and it keeps my skin moisturized. the tingling is long lasting and the scent is great. i buy the large ones and the whole family washes with it now. on the bottle is says you can wash your hair with it. my boyfriends hair is always very soft and this is the only thing he washes his hair with.

Thanx Ladies for the responses. I see alot people like that minty smell. But Kitten where can I get this stuff from??

Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo and conditioner is another one. It gives that tingly feeling.

Like someone else said, you can make your own. It's alost cheaper too. Just buy your own peppermint essential oil and add a few drops to what you're already using :)

MK I love your hair! But with making your own and adding the peppermint scent in will that also give the shampoo that umph to make your scalp tingle?? Thats what I want it for the tingle :drunk2:

My favorite conditioner with peppermint is UBH Conditioner.
I also like the following:
CB Smoothie Cool Silk poo and conditioner
Sole & Cinnamon Conditioner and Rinse
Nioxin Scalp Therapy
Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap
AURA Rosemary Mint Rinse

Try Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo which can be found at health food stores or online. It has no sodium laryl or lareth sulfates! Very exhilirating!

thanks! yes it will give you that same feeling. peppermint essential oil is the ingredient they are using in the shampoo/conditioners everyone has listed. so buying the oil yourself and adding it will do the same thing and you can add it to all different kinds of shampoos and conditioners which would probably save you money too.

for a final rinse, i like to add about 5-7 drops of peppermint essential oil to a jug of cold water and pour it over my head. it tingles for a good while. it feels great :D

My favorite is the UBH protein conditioner also. the tingle is very strong. I also like the scalp treatment by Mizani. It isn't a poo, it's a trtmnt you apply after you poo, and this tingle seriously lasts for a few days. Those are the only 2 I've used.

As far as applying peppermint to your own poo, be careful. Search the net and find out the right amount to apply. Too much can burn your scalp. I remember reading a post a few months back about this.

Trader Joe's makes a Peppermint Castile soap that is comparable to (and cheaper than) Dr. Bronner's peppermint.

Also the Giovanni Tea Tree has an awesome tingle

yeah you don't need a lot at all. as is the case with most essential oils. they are concentrated so it only takes a few drops :)

Just add peppermint essential oil to a shampoo and conditioner you already love. very easy.
I do this all the time

Anyone know about the Bath and Body Works Peppermint Shampoo?

Bath & Body Works sells the CO Bigelow mentha mint infused invigorating shampoo. I thought it was pretty good, you get a nice tingle, but the shampoo and conditioner are 12 each for 10 ounces, so I only bought them on sale to try.

Thanks! I was actually talking about the other kind that says BIO on it... I'm not sure if it was the same thing, but it doesn't say CO Bigelow anywhere on it.

Oh I thought the bio line was discontinued a while ago, never saw that one.

The best I ever used was Northwest Scents. Its all natural and the smell just fills the house and lasts for a couple days

Avalon Organics has a conditioner called Peppermint Revitalizing Conditioner--I think it has the shampoo to it. It stimulates the scalp and you can feel it even after rinsing it out but is not irritating. In Target, there is a New Product from John Frieda Collection Called Awakening Root Nourishing Moisture conditioner and it has peppermint in it.

I bet it was Nexxus PEP'R'MINT HERBAL ENERGIZING SHAMPOO. :yep:
My old sylist in the early 90's used it and it smelled sooooooooo good!
I don't remember how it made my hair feel though because I wore so much weave back then but WOW I remember that smell and that tingle.
I don't think there is a conditioner but maybe. HTH :drunk:

May I ask if you are still using this product and like it because I'm thinking about trying the shampoo. Is the shampoo as moisturizing as they claim?
Thanks

I use Fantasia's Tea Tree Natural Intensive Conditioner for my cowashes, and it makes my hair so soft, and detangled. I get a slight tingle, but nothing serious, I just like it because it helps with my dry itchy scalp.

giovanni ttt shampoo has a nice minty tingle and smell so does keracare dry&itchy scalp both have matching conditioners too
