I hope this hasn't been done. At any rate, have many of you received your tax returns yet? I hurried and did mine. Yesterday I spent $100 on butters and essential oils, this does not include my coconut or other oils. This was just phase one. I'm about to stock up on my other oils and some castile soap as well. I'm even going all out and getting some more spray bottles and jars for my concoctions(tired of recycling emptied product bottles). I'll come back to this thread and do a total, you come back too. I plan on spending no more than $200 meaning only $100 more to go. Let's see how much refund money got spent on our hair...

Nothing ive had mine for a few days and i haven't even opened them yet. And i don't think im going to for a few months.

I made sure to file my taxes ASAP because i really needed the money!!
Too bad i didn't really get to spend it on 'fun things'
I paid $1000 for tuition, and the other $300 for rent/food....this year i received the most money I've ever gotten and is sucked cause i couldn't even spend it like i wanted- but i did what was right.

I've just received my taxes but i don't think i will be spending too much on hair products, i have enough as it is. I know i want to stock up on some ors olive oil in a jar 8oz's. I only want a few things here and there but that's about it. Plus i've moved on to other addictions.:giggle:

I don't plan on spending any on hair products - have bigger/better things to drop the loot on.

$80 on new hair style. I already spent $40 bucks on hair products. I plan on getting a Babyliss flat iron.

My lazy behind haven't even filed yet:nono:. I'll probably get the paperwork together within the next week or so, and get it filed. Hubby depends on me to get it done, since I handle the money.

I haven't filed yet, but I'm not spending one dang dime of my tax money on hair products! I refuse.

I didn't get my refund yet but I already purchase 2 boxes of Phytorelaxer ($120).. I need to purchase mango butter, a profectiv product, Henna and maybe a bottle of Emergencee. Ok adding all that up should probably come to about $230..

So far I've bought a GVP tourmaline flat iron from Sally's and Remington hot rollers. Thats in addition to approx. $150.00 in "bandwagon" hair and health products. I GOTSTA slow down! It's too early for PJ burnout.

You didn't have an option for "got mine: paid for peace of mind"...all of my return went into my savings account!

I spent about $70 on hair products (Silicon Mix, Lacio Lacio, Sunsilk (for my weave) and some other conditioners, $170 on remy hair and $140 on my hard hat dryer!

 Darn near $400 on hair stuff :wallbash: :wallbash: umn somebody smack me!!!

The only thing that I'm buying with my refund is a hooded dryer but that's only $30. The rest is going to the wedding fund.

My federal refund is in my account as of today. I am gonna have to spend it on getting my car fixed although I wanted to book a 4 day trip to Jamaica. The transmission failed yesterday while DH was on the way to work. Hopefully it will only be a small fix and not a new transmission because my federal refund was not enough to cover a new transmission.

Transmissions aren't cheap you know. I had to get mine replaced back in 07 and it would have cost me 3k. But I got a deal on mine because the dealership tried to play me. They didn't know who they was messing with. I had to show them who's boss and only paid $700 with a 3yr/36,000 mile warranty.

Good Luck

Yeah, DH is an ASE certified mechanic as is my FIL. Transmission work is pricey. My sister paid $2,700 for her SUV's transmission overhaul right at Christmas. She didn't even tell DH about it until the SUV was already in the shop plus she lives out of state so he could not have fixed it as quickly as she needed her SUV. It's the labor that's the killer for transmissions.

Thankfully I get labor for free:grin:

I just got mine today so I haven't spent anything on hair and I don't plan on spending any $$ on hair. I have my hair in cornrows so I don't need much. I want to have cornrows for 2 months so hopefully I stay on this low maintenance tip.

But if my hair was out, wooooooo I'd be in Claire's buying so many accessories!!!

I had thought about getting a sedu or a steamer. I ended up getting a GVP iron and will be doing the turbie towel steam method for a while longer.

We're saving all the refund $, but I am still looking for that Rusk Smoother. I'll get that out of the regular monthly budget...

I bought at $97.00 exercise bike from Wal-Mart, payed my half of the rent, and I'm planning on getting my car fixed :)

I will be stocking up on carrier oils and EO too. EO are SO expensive. I will also be purchasing the pink FHI in target, maybe a blow dryer, and a wig for when i want to protect my hair.
