After doing some research, I came across some info. from no other than the father of history, Herodutus.

Herodotus wrote about the Dravidians ( Indians from India ):

They differ in nothing from the other Ethiopians ( black ), save in their language, and the character of their hair. For the the eastern Ethiopians have straight hair, while they of Libya are more woolly-haired than any other people in the world.

I have also read that the southern indian people originated out of Ethiopia.

We have ruly gone back to our roots.

Yes, there is a prominent Dalit Indian professor who has books out on the subject. Plus, it's known in Ethiopia about the migrations. And in ancient times as well as today, there was multi-trade in between many peoples. It's absolutely true. South Indian or Indian indigenous are Dravidians. Persians came down from the North and invaded in later times.

Ethiopian, Harar
Somalia
Harar, Ethiopia

I learned about the Dravidians when I noticed how some Egyptian poses I had seen in a book looked exactly like yoga and learned that it has origins in Egypt....which was pretty cool considering the general consensus is that Yoga originated in India.

History is fascinating!

Well sah..as the saying goes...it's a small world huh..Great info...and yeh don't forget to post where we can also read up more on this..It's very interesting

Check your Bible. Mari-of-Magdal, (hence my screen name) Mary Magdalene actually was from Magdal and had a trade shop Sepohra(sp), the same in name as the one in the local malls. (they did their homework coming up with that name) She actually sold the finest of herbs/parfums/oils, etc.....she washed the masters feet with her long hair.....etc.........it's all there, research oils, herbs, foods, etc of the bible. We were originally created to live solely off the land. It's no coincidence that we should find success by turning back to our origin.

Yes, it should be spelled Sephora, which is natural beauty-organic in nature. She dealt in oils, soaps, scents, etc......SHE WAS RICH TOO!

Recently aired on PBS...The Story of India further substantiates his findings. It's a great documentary. In my heart I always sort of knew this to be true!

I love it!!! I also love reading my bible and learning about the peoples of the earth, especially our people. I do nothing special. I google and search and absorb like a sponge.

I always thought indian women had beautiful fabrics and gold bangles. So I wanted to know where does this culture come from. Will keep you all posted when I stumble across another fascinating topic.
