Good morning ladies :)

If you are like me, you have are tracking your touchups somewhere on a cell phone, your office calendar, a piece of paper, etc. I keep track on my cell phone but last night got paranoid of the "what if's". What if I lose my cell phone or it gets water damaged?

I figured I'd start a thread for me to keep track of touchups and invite you to add on your touch up dates as well. This way you can always come back here and see when you last did your touch up, and also add any comments that you can read about your experience (did you try a new relaxer? Add olive oil? Tried 10 minutes this time instead of 13?) so that the next time you touch up you have something to come back to.

Anyway, feel free to add on if you wish :)

Touched up last night 2/15 after a 9 week stretch. Added olive oil to Silk Elements Mild. Added a ton of conditioner to hair row by row which helped because when applying relaxer didn't need to re part so much. Left conditioner on about an hour or two. Started on top right quadrant then did bottom left quadrant, next was top right quadrant then bottom right quadrant. Hair came out wonderful. Time from start to finish before rinsing about 16 minutes.

I last had a touch-up, October 11th, 2008, (Yay, 18 weeks and 2 days Post!)!,
Trying to make it to 30 weeks, I don't believe it will be hard, I've been using S-Curl No-Drip and Cantu Daily Moisturizer, and it has my NG just as soft and manageable as it wants to be!, so I think I can do it! We'll See!

Oh very good idea girl...why i had too look thru the threads to find out when my last TU was...lol..
I did my last TU Feb 6th..

Great Idea... I'm always trying to remember when I last relaxed!

My last relaxer was Dec 19, 2008. I normally stretch 10-12 weeks, but I'm going 15-16 this time!

Hi JNSQ!!! I missed you on the boards.

My last TU was on December 5th. The next one is this Friday (thank ya Lord).

Great Thread OP! I'm using the siggy method now but in the past I've used Office Outlook Calendar...and my personal favorite "bugging friends to remember and remind me". I love the idea of a thread!

Last touchup was 2/9/09. Best touch up ever! I added olive oil and SAA to ORS Relaxer. I can't keep my hands out of my hair! I love it.

Dec. 27th was my last TU.

Her's a dumb idea: We should set up a quarterly, relaxer time-schedule. That way we can support each other, challenge ourselves to stretch and plan together.

Example: 2 weeks prior 1. Stop using sulpher products
1 week prior 1. Stop scratching scalp 2. wash and clarify hair

Reminders and collective things that we would all do the same time. I'm too lazy to start and maintain a thread.

Last touch up December 11th 2008. Currently 10 weeks post going for 20-22 weeks post, Must be relaxed by the first week of June

My last relaxer was Jan. 19th.

Last TU was 6 Sept 08 so I am 23 wks post trying to hold out until 65 wks post to either go natural to relax.

Note to self: If I relax would like to change relaxer from Affrim to Mizani Butter Blends

It's really easy for me to keep up with tu bc I do mine on specific dates:

Jan 1st
Used Mizani Sensitive Scalp, based scalp, sprayed SAA on all my hair and really concentrated on new growth, added SAA to relaxer, oiled previously relaxed hair, made horitzontal parts. I was very happy with my results. I have 3 more tubs of my current relaxer but am thinking about switching to Mizani Butter Blends Sensitive Scalp.

May 1st
I may stretch til July 1st which would change the next tu to Jan 1st

Sept 1st or Jan 1st

I think this is a great place for me to keep track of what I did bc me writing in my hair diary is not working!
