Would you get a flexi rod set if your hair was neck length?

Be honest. I want to try it but I'm scared it will come out bad. My hair would probably come up to my ears.

Would you do it?

Try doing on the weekend , this way you will have time to fix it if you do not like it.

I was EL and I tried bantu knots, it looked like a jerri curl when it was done but I still rocked it.

I'm NL and I'm getting them in 2 weeks... I think they will look good.. well I hope so lol... Post a pic when you do it so I can see!

I wouldn't. It would make me look like a little kid.

But its not about what we would rock its about what you like and what you feel comfortable with. Try it out and see. If you don't like it then you know not to do it again.

I was thinking this too. Plus my head is on the big side :ohwell:

I forgot about my sides, which are a little past my ears. So I guess it wouldn't work. I need more styling options. I'm getting tired of going to the salon and my rollersets suck.

I would...in fact, I did. When my hair was NL, I wore spiral sets all the time, and I still wear them. They were a great, low manipulation style that really helped me retain length. I would wash and re-set it weekly. Yes, it made my length shrink up to my ears, but that didn't bother me. I put on some cute earrings and was good to go.

With that said, you should be comfortable with the hair style you choose to wear, so if you give it a try, I hope you like it.

Hey locabouthair, Don't give up. Rollersetting is challenging, but each times it gets better. I'm rocking a bang and two twists ups. My DH calls me Jaime from In Living Color, Jim Carrey's portrait of a girl.. :)

ive seen cute spiral sets on NL hair. I agree to use smaller ones. it will have more definition. If u dont like how the front comes out then just pin it up. or pin up the crown for half up half down look
