Dr. Bronners Soap?

Any one using it? I just recently purchased it. is it suppose to be very watery? I am worried I thought it should be thick, but its watery and then I added more water to it I am very concerned. I used it love it love how clean my hair felt and how soft it was after conditioning more soft then ever before. But still is it the right consistency? I would like to wash my hair again tonight. What has been your experience with this. I also added oils to it and plan on adding essential oils as well.

The castile supposed to be like that. Make sure you dilute it, it will strip your hair if used full strength. Adding oils is fine, I've only added essential oils.

oh okay thanks. I was worried that it was to thin. I added three oils but couldn't tell when I started to use the products anyway its a keeper

My Dr. Bronner's soap will be delivered today. I purchased the lavendar one. There is a thread with the recipe but now I can't find it. I just saw it last week. I'll keep looking.

I plan on using the following:

1 oz soap
6 oz distilled water
2 oz oil
Possibly add some conditioner (this is what the OP said for the recipe)

Does it matter whichone of the soaps you use? I want to try the rose and the orange ones.

Umm, I'm not sure. They all have the same base ingredients until you get towards the end of the list. I think it just depends on what you want or the benefit you want from it.

I read a lot of the reviews on vitacost.com. I choose the lavender over the peppermint cuz I figured the peppermint might be too "clarifying"...if that makes sense. I know lavendar has more of healing and soothing effect which I thought would benefit my scalp.

I'm still trying to find that post with the recipe and it's like it has disappeared.

I add AOHR to my Tea Tree castille soap to wash my hair and . My hair always feels so light and fluffy afterwards and my curls pop like crazy.

I have the peppermint one and use Traycee's recipe with GREAT success. I LOVE how soft it makes my hair feel and how it lathers. But it is watery, so I put mine in a color applicator bottle to make sure I hit my roots.
