1star You could probably make it by getting a leather strap or shoe lace and threading it through some faux pearls.

I still need to troll all the Targets in my area. I remember seeing it but failed to buy it when I saw it. They are sold out on the online retailers that had it.

Nonie, I could do that if I could find the comb/headband that they use. The headband has non-damaging combs attached to it. It stays in place without breaking or catching hair. I have the side combs but I also want the headband.

Nonie! You KNOW me. I already went to that site and did just that. LOL Girl, every site that sold that exact scunci H/B is sold out. There is one site giving one "free" if you buy their products (none of which was under $50 so I did not go that route).

My bad. It is not the pearl one that is free it is a bead wrapped one. I like it too & I'd take either one, but I'd rather just buy it outright than have to buy something I don't want/need. (and YES I tried to get it free w/o purchase but )

Thanks but I've been everywhere: Rite-aid, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Wal-Mart, BSSs. I'm kicking myself b/c I saw it over the summer/fall and did not buy it. Now, that I have the side combs and I see just how comfortable and gentle to the hair they are, I want the pearl headband and the plain black one and there are none to be found! My bad. LOL

I have that headband! I have yet to wear it, though. I found mine at Walgreens. They actually had a special on it a few months ago where they had several Scuncii hair accessories in a bag for like $2.99. It came with the pearl headband, pearl ponytail holder, hair clips, etc.

girl, you know I'm over here hatn on you! I'm kicking myself for not getting the one I saw @ Walgreens a few months ago. I've noticed though that there are less Scunci and more Conair labels but it is the same product. I know that they are the same company, but Conair seemingly did the hair accessories under Scunci and the hard core styling items (blowdryers/flat irons etc) under Conair.

I want the Scunci/Conair headband w/ the teeth sooooo badly. I'd even settle for the plain black one w/o pearls and then I can do what Nonie said and put the pearls on myself.

Priss, you have to try one of those items you got. The teeth are made in such a way that they do not catch or snag hair and they are metal so they don't break like plastic. Plus the metal is covered in something that I don't know what it is but it is "soft". I love the side combs. I have the pearl ones and black ones that don't have any decoration on them. I reeeeeeeely like these things. I'm going to keep looking and call the company tomorrow (cause I keep forgetting) to see what they say.

I even have some combs with little flowers on them.
