or trained, whatever, is it ok to relax or will all my hair fall out?
Also, can someone recommend a stylist in the Atlanta area? Thanks.

Missfadu, the last thing damaged natural hair need is chemicals applied to it.
What about a lot of DC'ing and grow a little, trim a little process to get your hair back on track.

I just wanted to come back and say that Balisi is a great stylist.
You can relax it but you need to spend a little more time working on it first.
I would follow Tracys bootcamp for colored hair regime for a month first. Its basically a regime that is designed to increase the strength and elasticity of the hair while still maintaining moisture and its supple feel. I can bump it for you.
Since parts of your hair are heat trained, in a way, if you relax, its like you will have double processed hair. Not exactly in the same sense but I think you get my point. Its not impossible to do, I myself and double processed, but you need to prepare your hair before you do it. Plus from your post it seems like you are fustrated more than anything. Only relax if you are really sure. Try following the Tracy Bootcamp for atleast a month, if you can two. That way, you have more time to really think about it and if you do decide to do it, you would have atleast increased the health of your hair so that you could do it. Keep us posted with what you decide to do.
