Ok, so I had to go by Target and pick up some household stuff... and right next door is an Ulta. I know I know... I need help, but it's like... something takes over me when I'm anywhere near a BSS (its a strange phenonmenon). :abducted:

Anyways, I'm strolling down the brush aisle, thinking  "gosh, I wish I knew how to use the round-brush blowout technique like the Dominicans so I can tame my NG while trying to stretch". I fondled a few brushes but put them back, knowing that I've tried it before and it just ain't gon work. :nono: So then I'm thinking... "it would be great if they made a roundbrush/blowdryer type thingy for unskilled people like me..."

Then lo and behold on the next aisle over... what do I find?.. A hot air brush!! You should have seen the glee on my face! My prayers were answered!! :lachen:
So now I'm still shopping, happy as can be, looking for something to tame my 4b edges. I normally use Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer and tie down with a scarf, but that stuff is just too "waxy" for me. Plus I hate having the "scarf lines" in my hair. So, I was looking for something that wasn't a gel, didn't contain petroleum, and didn't contain cones. So I saw this stuff called Short Sexy Rough & Ready Styling Gunk. I can't describe the consistency... not gellish and not greasy, so I thought "what the heck".

Long story short (too late for that now, huh?) :giggle:.... I LOVED the hot air brush (made by Wigo)!! Previously I was flat-ironing my NG which I hate because it's too much heat. This tool is perfect! It's also impossible to tangle your hair because the bristles retract. Hot dog!! :drunk:

Also, the Styling Gunk was amazing :yep:... laid my 4b edges down like nobody's business WITHOUT HAVING TO TIE THEM DOWN WITH A SCARF! I love it!

With these 2 products, I may be able to stretch my relaxers indefinitely!! :yay:

:sekret: *Off to go hide the packaging before my honey gets home!* :grinwink:

I always wondered how that Wigo brush was--I had seen it on-line when I was shopping for a hot air brush. I have a Revlon ceramic ionic something or another and I LOVE it. It's so much easier than trying to use a separate brush, and easier to maneuver than the old vidal sasson styler with the brush attachment that I used to use. I'm actually surprised they aren't more popular around here :yep:

I'm surprised as well....

I could stock a small store with all the stuff I've bought because of this forum! :drunk:
