Do You Look Forward To Doing Your Hair?

For instance, I'm at work right now thinking about how I cant wait to get home and wash and flat iron.. I love seeing the end results of a good wash and I'm getting to enjoy the process that goes into it. I haven't perfected the art of pre pooing and I havent come to a decision on any staples, but I do like the process of trying everything out. So what about you? Do you moan and groan but get it over with anyway, or Do you love to do your hair?

OH YES! I love doing my hair. If I have to relax, sometimes I do it a week early because I cant wait. I love to wet my hair. I love sew-ins but I miss playing and taking care of my hair so it comes out with a few weeks (but of course I do my own weaves so I can do that).

I absolutely LOVE deep conditioning my hair!

I'm going to treat myself to a hair steamer, and I may never leave the house again!

This is the most pampering thing (besides bubble baths) the I do for myself.

It depends...if I have time to myself to do it and don't have to rush or be somewhere, then I enjoy it. If my son is running around screaming, I need to be somewhere and have a time limit, then no I don't enjoy it.

In general I do like taking care of my hair.

It depends on what I do as far as styling. I hated doing my hair when I did rollersets. Then when I started doing twistouts and braidouts I looked forward to doing my hair.

It's funny because I used to wish I had a personal hair stylist that could do my hair everyday or afford to go the my beautician every week instead of every other, but now that I have so much great information from this board I don't want anyone in my hair. I can't imagine my stylist putting anything in my hair without first mixing some EO or Indian Oils to it lol! I would probably have a fit if she tried to shampoo me without pre-pooing first!! I do miss the days when I could go into the hair dresser and have my hair done in an hour and a half, but once I reach my goal length it will all be worth it.

Yea, now that I think I know what I'm doing somewhat, I love doing my hair. I just had to break myself from daily co washes, and its killing me. But doing my hair is "me time". I love trying new products and such. So I really enjoy it, just getting impatient on the growth part.
