I use the Organic Hair Mayonnaise as my weekly DC with heat and I love it. It makes my hair really soft and manageable.

i agree...i used to use their hair mayonnaise as well and i loved it. i also used to love the after shampoo conditioner. this stuff was great, it smelled good had good slip and detangled great too, plus its cheap....i don't even know why i stopped using this!

My stylist uses Tea-tree leave in for rollersets - My hair feels great but the tea-tree smell is strong if you use too much.

I used the leave in conditioner back in the day before I started coming to this board, it was a little watery on my hair, but I liked the smell and that it wasnt too heavy. I used the t-tree relaxer for a while, that was pretty good. I also used the t-tree shampoo, it had a decent smell and helped a little with my dandruff. It left my hair feeling nice and soft.

It adds great moisture to my daughter's hair. I use to use the leave-in conditioner in a jar. I didn't know it had mineral oil in it but it worked for her.

I'm thinking about trying the Parnevu leavin-in again. When I was first relaxed in '99, I used it to slick down my bun all the time...

My mom has used this on my hair since I was 2.....and I'll never part with it again. It works great for maintaining moisture

I used the relaxer for a good while before switching to phytorelaxer. It is very gentle and straightens very easily without burning you or your hair. If I ever get to the point where I can't afford phytorelaxer I will be going back to this one.

Did not like it when I was relaxed. Probably will not work now that I am natural. Also, did not like the filmy look on my hair.

Everyone hates it...but i am in love with the Leave In Conditioner. I use a little in the morning on my wet hair to slick into a bun, and when it dries, it leaves my hair soft and manageable. Why does it get such bad reviews???:ohwell:

I used it "Leave In" in the jar with success for a while. I did not like the way it caused my Dd's hair to be dry. I only stopped because I switched to hairveda and I use QP Mango butter to lay my hair down.

I use the Shampoo and After-Shampoo Cond. Both of these smell Great and they leave my hair so-so-so-soft. However, I don't know what's up with the Leave-in though, it is thick and smells great too but it leaves my hair dry and with white flakes...:nono:.

My cousin is natural 3B BSL. and uses the leave in that comes in the tub. She loves it.
She just turned me on to it and I love it too. It is very moisturizing and light.

I don't know anything about any of the other products.

Heres my 25 cents opinion: Parnevu leave-in conditioner in the jar works well for my stretches. It really seals in the moisture, adds shine, and makes my hair pliable and easier to manage. Based on experience with my relaxed hair, the petrolatum and mineral oil in Parnevu contains the right amt. of weight or heaviness, and othe ingredients which effectively locks moisture inside and outside of my relaxed hair. This locking effect prevents breakage and dryness. Seems like the other ingredients that accompany the mineral oil and petrolatum should be considered before we oppose all products containing these 2 ingredients. Parnevu is the only product I have used that contains mineral and petrolatum yet works very well for my hair, works better than the products that do not contain the petrolatum and mineral oil. On the other hand, hair lotions containing petrolatum and mineral oil clog my hair, weigh it down, make it gummy, are bad for my hair and do not work well, such as Luster's Pink Oil Moisture Lotion.
During my 12th week of stretching Parnevu leave-in cream conditon becomes my staple. I co-wash, add any spray leave-in or a little NTM cream leave-in, then coat/seal my hair with Parnevu cream leave-in and ware it hanging down. This hang down style gets lots of compliments. If I do not need a style then I use Parnevu to lay down the sides of a pony tail, and I keep the ends well moisturized. This allows me to stretch for 4 months or longer. I love Parnevu leave-in cream conditioner that comes in the jar. Motions Protein Reconstructer stops my breakage, and it too has gotten mostly bad reviews. Parnevu is my staple for stretching, and Motions Protein Reconstructor is my staple for the first 8 weeks post relaxer. EVOO is my anytime staple. Aphogee products are over rated, over priced, and do not work well on my relaxed hair.
The hi-priced relaxers, Affirm and Mazani, did not work any better than my old fave Soft&Beautiful Sensitive Scalp Realxer in the box. I'm a DIY relaxer.
