I have been a lurker for some time, yet have been keeping a short inverted bob for about a year now, so wasn't really focused on length, just getting my hair stronger.
I've now made the commitment to grow my hair longer - my ultimate goal is armpit length.
Overally, my hair is relatively healthy - my only problem are dry frizzy ends. I'm reluctant to cut them because I am not finding any split ends...just frizzy and dry. The top layer of my hair is dryer than the rest, due to highlights (you can still see them in my ponytail pic)

Anyway, here's my *official* starting point!

Sorry this pic came out so blurry, I couldn't get my focus to work right!

Back - you can see the top layer is dry, dull and frizzy

My little pony :yep:

I love the thickness.

At least youre starting off with healthy hair. That will make the journey a little easier.

I love it! Can't wait to see your progress!

You've got a great a start. Good luck on your hair journey

Your hair looks great. Welcome and good luck with your hair journey.

Thanks everyone! I am really excited to start my hair care journey, and have already received such great tips from this board. Since starting a healthier regimen, I've already noticed my hairs starting to be softer, smoother cuticle and needs less products and heat to be happy ;)

You are off to a great start. Your hair is so thick!!!

As a newbie (former lurker) welcome! You're off to a great start! Can't wait to see it at longer lengths!

I like your hair. It looks nice and healthy. Happy growing!!!
