It seems like I can make it to SL very quickly but once I get to that point I am unable to go any further. Does anybody have any suggestions? It's not that my hair has stopped growing. I still have new growth. I just don't get it. Please help me:wallbash:

Protective styling, thats how I did it:yep:...keep your hair off of your shoulders, away for your clothing...dont trim your hair...stretch your relaxers...u will pass SL in no time:yep:

:yep: Protective styling - you have to put your hair up and away for a while - try just 6 months, and you'll see a difference. :yep:

Alright, I guess I will be on my own personal bunning challenge. Yikes!!!!!!!!

Well, if you want, you can mix it up a bit. For example, to get past SL, I wore (and still wear) a mix of buns, curly and straight updos w/clips and spiral sets...just to keep it interesting.:yep: I think the key is to keep your ends moisturized and protected from damaging services.

Getting pass shoulder length was a dream for me so I know its a huge hurdle to cross. I got pass shoulder lenght by keeping my hair up. I use bobbie pins when it was too short to do anything with. I did something cute to the front and left the back up. As my hair got longer I use various things but now I hide the ends, I didn't at first now I do and its steady getting longer. it really truly works.

I like buns; I'm not going to do braids. I got a bunch of satin scrunchies and claw clips. Either very high ponytails or buns.... anything to keep my hair off of my clothes.

Just popping in to agree with the protective styles, too. But not bunning. :ohwell: I prefer french twists/rolls.

Boy does this seem like a long time:perplexed

Just putting in another vote for protective styles. :yep:

I will have to find some really interesting protective styles besides buns. Although it might not be that bad since I like to workout.
