Does anyone have any experience with this hair. It looks really pretty. :yep: And it's on sale too.

Did you check at forum.blackhairmedia.com ? There has been a lot of discussion over there about HC hair.

Gorgeous hair and the tracks are very thin so they help in making the install undetectable. I purchased 4 oz of the wavy about a year ago and I still have it. Their closures are also very good. I bought a 14'' silk closure in the Gentle Wave texture which is a perfect match to the natural straight hair I bought from another site. Once the scalp part was dyed, it looks very similar to my own scalp.

I did, but I wanted to know about this particular hair. I was looking at the relaxed texture but ti has been sold out for weeks now. :perplexed I was looking at a fotki of a BHM poster who has the same, I think, and it looks beautiful. Just what I want

I have pics of the gentle wave in my fotki. The hair is okay.

Well, I've never had a weave before. I'm gonna get my first install maybe this weekend with a nice BSS brand to see if I will even like it. :lachen: What BSS brand do you like best? I've heard good things about Sensationnel Goddess and Saga Gold too.

I never had good luck with BSS hair. I found it tangled, shed and didn't last very long or very well. With this being your first weave, it's a relatively inexpensive way to find out if you like wearing weave, but don't be disappointed if you don't get the 2 month life out of it that people talk about with higher-end brands of hair.

Oh, I'm not expecting that all. My expectations are pretty low. I just want it to last 4-5 weeks. And last through a wash or 2.

if you want to get good reusable hair then you could go with an on line vendor. I know ppl on BHM have been having some issues with her. i have never ordered and i may just put up with poor customer service to get some cheap hair....

But have you looked into Laniks? her hair is about that price

Yeah I have. When I buy, it'll be Laniks or HC. As for Laniks, I don't know if I should get the fresh relaxed texture or the indian virgin remy. Too many choices! :wallbash:

I also havent had pleasant experiences with BSS hair. So im now leaning more toward indian hair from vendors now. I never have tried Halleys curl and thought the Relaxed texture was very pretty. But its so many mixed reviews about them on BHM and then the reviews about the hair itself its just that i dont want to order hair and it not be worth as much as the BSS hair. I guess its a risk you take.

l've order from Halley's several times with problems. I only order the Salon Relaxed, but Ive order a sample of the Virgin hair and it might be impossible to blend unless your getting a closure.. As far I BSS hair, I like Saga .

The relaxed texture maybe a better texture match but it is processed hair so it won't be as durable as virgin remy. Virgin remy is what most stars wear - hair that hasn't been colored or processed in anyway. But, like all human hair, it's health (quality) will depend on who took care of it and how they cared for it.

The plus with virgin remy is that you can color, relax, perm, or whatever on the hair if you don't like it as is. I would go for the virgin remy -- before it is all sold out!

I have used HC before and had no problems.

Oh wow! Thanks for all that info. I think I will go with a virgin remy hair for my expensive hair and then Sensationnel Goddess Remy for my first sew-in, which will hopefully be this weekend.
