What is a good product to that holds curls, without making them hard?

My problem is...I can flat iron my hair and it looks good in the house. But when I hit that door and get out in the elements - not even rain, but just out...they fall out!! My hair is very fine, and I just want something that will allow me to get to church at least with one curl in my head!!

If it helps, the style I have is like a "Bobb". I have soft hair, and I'm just afraid of something making it hard!

Any info would be great!

(Is this what mousse is used for or what? Kinda confused.)

Silk Elements mousse.

Or how about setting your hair on satin rollers for a while before leaving the house.

Try Steam rollers or Sabino Moisture block.
Or use a little extra setting lotion when setting your hair for a firmer hold.

ITA. The Silk Elements mousse is very good for setting curls on dry hair without that hard feeling. I use it on dry hair with flexirod or satin rollers. I have the Curl Defining Mousse, but I want to try the other one by Silk Elements when it runs out.
