I never thought I would do this but I washed, DC'd my hair last night and was too tired to sit back under the dryer so I just put it back in a low braid and tied it up.
I thought it would be dry by morning but it was damp. I remember reading about the flatironing on damp hair and how many did this. I decided to give it a try. I sectioned my hair, sprayed protectant, and began. I did not hear sizzling or anything but I DID see a lot of steam. After I did the first section I was surprised at how cool my hair was to the touch and light and feathery and moist too. So I continued.
When I was done I was like WOW! My hair looked the BOMB if I may say so myself. I got all kinds of compliments today at work and even a couple "Is that all your hair?"
Now will I do this everytime? Probably not but I was/am shocked at the results...definitely something I will be looking into more in terms of the effects on hair health. It may not be for everyone but...Anyway, the pic is in my siggy shot.
