its never occured to me that there could be guys on this forum....very ignorant of me i know......

so are there any more lurking out there :hiya:.....i'm merely asking for curiosity not to shame.....

do you have the same issues as us ladies do in terms of hair care???

do you think non lhcf's dont u nderstand you and why you seek healthy hair????

I want to know too. Because I always address my threads as ladies.
 
It could be a couple. I've seen at least 10 men with fotkis tracking their hair progress. At least one of them have to be here too.
 
I remember Macherieamor made a post in HT last year saying that men wanted to the join the forum... but some ladies had issues with men being in the forum because of bra strap pics, etc... There may be some men and they're just in hiding... OR they don't visit the forum half as much as we do! :grin:

I can imagine men lurking here... Especially, fathers raising their daughter without a female to help with her hair.
 
I think we have a couple. One guy posted his before after pics after he did a BC. Then there's an old member who's an idol of mine in the natural/braiding journey. I can think of another two that just fell by the wayside. But that's all I know.
 
I wonder why men would join? Are they trying to acheive APL or do they have a freaky hair fetish? It's just weird to me...

The ones I've known of have/had interest in hair. They had questions about hair or wanted to share their journeys.

I know that's right. Men who choose to grow their hair seem to do a better job of retaining length and keeping it healthy.
 
There used to be someone with the username BlkManwithsomesense who would give a male point of view on various subjects.
 
Why should women be mad if men want to join? We post pictures of men with long hair and drool over them. If they share their regimens we can peep their growth secrets,right? If they have bra strap issues, it's not like a guy's never seen a bra strap.:rolleyes::lachen:Fotkis can be seen outside of LHCF.

I know of at least five. I posted a thread on this in Off Topic before. The forum is open to all so everyone is welcomed. I think on the poll I did more women said they were fine with it.

My fav is tkj! I love watching his progress. I also enjoy post by Hairmaster. Of course you all know Nikos is here.

There have been a couple that made themselves known ( I remember Blkman...),
but other than those, I don't know of any others.

Wouldn't bother me either- they can pay their $$$ just like errybody else-

Blkman... really fell off- wonder where he is???

Yea, I can understand single fathers with daughters on here, they shouldn't be shy, growing long hair is not limited to only women.....i'm sure there are lots of men who have or want long hair and also like women with long hair....so if there are men here, welcome.....and don't be shy......but I understand about the brastrap pics too.......but I mean a lot mean love women with long hair....so I'm sure they are just looking at the pics too!
 
I did not know men posted here. I think we have some topics that are very inappropriate for male company. I'm a little appalled now :-(
 
Everyone should be aware that ANYTHING you post ON THE INTERNET CAN BE SEEN BY ANYONE! Even those who lock their fotki's...there are some very sophisticated people in this WORLD and nothing you put out there is HIDDEN. So be careful of what you post and if you feel uncomfortable about men seeing you in your bra, be aware when you post pictures in them :blush:
