Ladies, PLEASE tell me if you mix conditioners how many for dc'ing. Because I'm up to 3 and I seal with a lightweight oil. Then I keep a plastic cap on for an hour or so with no heat added, my hair is soooooooo soft afterward. I just wanted to know if 3 is to much.:spinning: Happy Hair Growing Ladies!!

To cut down on amounts of conditioners, read the label and get the common denominator. Then you might can knock out one if it has the same stuff as the two. Too much is when you hair gets mushy, she'll let you know...

Does it work for you? If it does then continue with it. I like mixing conditioners as well. It works for me. :lick:

:sekret: I've been known to mix up to five. :lachen: If you and your hair and your pocketbook like it, roll on!

Hello J-Moe, I mix Megatek\Green Tea Con\Olive Olive\Vitamin E all in 1. I use this on my hair, then I use my protein conditioner. Afterwards, I put a moisturizing con. when I am done! *Whew*...I feel good!! And I know I should...lolol

I mix my conditioners, and I'm talking about 4 or 5 because I'm trying to get rid of them, my hair is much easier to do, but I don't deep condition with them, just leave on for like 5 mins or 10mins and rinse out, whenever I find a staple of shampoo and conditioner, I won't mix my conditioner, because your hair will be so soft and you won't know which conditioner is making your hair soft.

Ah! That reminded me of a good point - the first time I use a conditioner, I always use it straight. As hard as it is, I don't mix it with anything, so that I can see that conditioners effect on my hair alone.

I may mix two but not more than that. Along with reading the ingredients, I spend a fair amount of money on good DC's and I want all the benefits that product can give me!
