I've used growth aids... maybe... twice the whole journey. The longest I've used each were a month. I can't be consistent with growth aids for the life of me.

Silk Elements Lye Relaxer!!!

Some of you already know that my stylist use to use this before I startED self-relaxing. So I knew what the product can do but I didn't really know until I started using it myself. Anyway, I use this to self-relax and GOOD LAWD is this thing so....ummm.....ironically...moisturizing! When I was rinsing out the relaxer, my hair felt like butter!!...felt like I was rinsing out a DC! I kid you not, no conditioner has ever made my hair feel this silky & soft!

Long story short, I DC'd put in my serum ONLY and proceed to blow dry. My hair felt very stiff. I re-washed my hair (clarified) and it still feels very moisturized blush, so I leave out the conditioner (I know, I know ), applied a serum only, and blow dried. It's still soft!!! I used the same products I've always used, so I believe it's the relaxer.

This is how shiny my hair is after a blow-dry! Never in life have I experienced shiny hair after a dang blow dry!



It's official.... this is the only product that makes my hair BLING! And it's now my staple! (finally have a staple )

Your hair looks great!! SE didnt work for me though. It took most of my hair out from the root. Now Im wearing wigs and protective styles till it grows back. I cant wait to reach bra strap again.
