Ok ladies......I have hair between SL n APL. I'm looking to purchase flexirods but not sure which are the best to buy or in what quantity?

I was looking to get the purple 7/8", either the orange 5/8' or grey 3/4' and the red 7/16'

How many of each should I get?

Thanks in advance for the help ladies :)

I have SL hair, and I bought two packs of the yellow rods and one pack of the soft cloth covered rods. My hair is very thin so I don't need a lot, although I use all of them.
Based on what you tell me, I'd get one pack of each I guess. Better more than not enough.

Well I wanted to get a few of each so I can style my hair at any size I feel like doing at the time.

I was trying to get the quantities for each size (sold in pks of 10) previously mentioned that I'm looking to purchase.

I looked at the yellow ones but they are too small or my liking. Thank you for the response though....definitely need the help

Then get one of each pack. That should get you to what? 40? That should be good. The yellow ones are VERY tiny, but I like small tight curls considering how short my hair is.

Thanks Tink.....Your photos were great. Tell me something....what brand of rods are you usings...the Annie brand or something else? Your grey rods look huge:yawn:

BermudaKiss, the grey are big flexirods, but they are the minimum for me. I even used bigger ones, probably the size you quote for the purple (7/8). I do not like small curls (what I call loking s a small dog - sorry for the comparion).
You definitively need to use a lot - around 40 - if you want plenty of (large) curls without separation visible. Once you are accustomed to, it s not so long to place (but you will be tired in your arms), but it is cumbersome. I cannot enter under the hard hat dryer with that and I have to airdry.
I am not a fanatic of the flexirods, I prefer the conventional rollersets, but definitively cretaes a different look, so I do it 2 to 3 times per year

I say go with the 3/4 rods. Buy them from the Asian BSS. Much cheaper.

You can see some flex setts in my Fotki:D
