better be worth it! I ordered the shampoo and the moisture balance conditioner from curl mart. Both totaled $14.00!!! Also, has anyone heard of Long Lovely Locks? I ordered something from them also.

I said the same thing re. Elucence... and it is.... and I can get it locally, too! Going to get some more tomorrow!

I love the shampoo, and the conditioner provides amazing slip for me. It works great as a leave in too. I've heard of Long Lovely Locks but I'm not buying anything else until I finish up what I have now. I'll look foward to your review though!

I've used elucence MB conditioner on my relaxed hair and it was GREAT. Used in on my natural hair once but I can't give an opinion as I had applied it to slightly damaged hair. Will be using it next time I wash.
Those of you who use the conditionner, do you use as a deep conditioner with things added to it or as straight as a regular conditioner?

Never tried the shampoo, I've been using Creme Of Nature (the bottle with the red letters) but I find it a bit stripping. Is the Elucence Shampoo all that great? Does it lather too much?

RE: Elucence MB Conditioner, I use it as a leave in. Does nothing for me as a rinse out, haven't tried as a deep co. Awesome leave in though!!

Do you dilute it with water to use as a leave-in or you just put it straight into your hair?
Also what exactly is the purpose of a leave-in? It has been baffling me for a minute now... What does a leave-in do that a moisturizer does not?

Um, to be honest the hype was just all hype for me :ohwell:. The shampoo and conditioner are just so-so. The conditioner makes my hair very mushy which in turn makes me loose more hair :( {I only wash my hair every two weeks though so I don't use shampoo and conditioner as often anymore}. When I'm done I will switch back to Kenra products.

I use the clarifying shampoo, the MB shampoo and Conditioner. I love it. Even the clarifying shampoo is very moisterizing for my hair. The shampoo smells like peaches and the conditioner gives me amazing slip. I don't use as a leave in much, but when I did, it was nice and kept my hair soft. I don't dilute it, because a small amount is good for a wash and conditon, so you really don't have to use much to get great results.

Actually, some things work for some people and some works for others. I prefer this over some of the other products that people raved over because this works for me. Before Elucence, I was going from product to product trying to find the "right" one and now that I have, I'll stick with it.

I just reordered the moist poo, my hair likes it. I loove the conditioner. My new buy is the acidfying poo and the protective balm (as a hot oil treatment).

The hype was worth it to me.

I used it straight. The difference between the two for me is that a leave in is applied to wet hair (for the same purposes as a moisturizer). A leave-in often is not as effective on dry hair. Not always the case though...

Hmmm, I don't really know what to say. When I first tried Elucence, the conditioner gave great moisture, but not much slip. About 2 weeks later, it started giving slip , go figure. The shampoo isn't stripping, but I wouldn't advise anyone to comb their hair after using the shampoo. It doesn't make my hair feel hard, but it's not detangled enough to put a comb in it. The conditioner is still nice, though, it's starting to offer slip. I'm now working with 12 weeks of new growth and I've been having some issues with that no matter the conditioner I use so that may be a factor. From the Elucence line, I have the: Moisture Benefits Shampoo (liter), Moisture Balancing Conditioner (liter, I bought 2), Extended Moisture Repair Treatment, Silk Hydrating Elixir, Volume Clarifying Shampoo, Volumizing Designing Foam. They're all rather decent products. I'm gonna use them up.

I bought Elucence before coming to this site but it's been worth it. Sometimes I use the Kenra emolliet conditioner with it. Perfect combo for me.

Very true...I will say that the clarifying shampoo is pretty good...not as drying as the Suave Daily clarifying shampoo I used...

I keep my stock of Elucence: moisture benefits shampoo, volume clarifying shampoo, moisture acidifying shampoo, moisture balancing conditioner, extended moisture repair treatment, protective barrier balm, smoothing shine polish, and the silk hydrating elixir, whew! I might have to crown myself 'Queen of Elucence.' I haven't been disappointed in using these Elucence products....

I gave up on the relaxer, though, 'cause it didn't give me very good results.....

I really like the leave in! I bought mine from naturallycurly.com at the curl mart.

I use it as a base before applying curl creme to my natural hair. It's works really well with IC as a curl fixative.

I love me some Elucence. In fact, Im waiting on an order that I just placed a few days ago of some more Elucence products. I absolutely love it.;)

I love Elucence shampoo and conditioner give my hair great slip and moisture.
I currently rotate Elucence with Keracare.

Did you use the balm as a hot oil treatment? How did that work out?

I use the MB shampoo and conditioner, they both provide great slip. I tried the Moisture Repair Treatment, it was ok but I'm going to give it another try since I have a full bottle.

I'm gonna use the Moisture Repair Treatment as a light protein treatment and also after my relaxers.

I used the conditioner. It smelled good and it detangled well, but it wasn't moisturizing. It made my hair feel like it starch in it or something. It was weird.

I tried it as an after shampoo conditioner, for conditioner washes and as a leave in at different times. I didn't like it, and I won't repurchase. I was so disappointed because it seemed like everyone raved over it.
