Whats the difference between sheen and shine?

I always think of it like, healthy hair, that's done, just has a sheen to it. It has a slight shine, it looks .. polished.

Shine is artificial to me. You get it from serums and glosses.

That's just how I think of it.

Sheen is what you get when the shine product is just laying on top of your hair, shine is what you get when your hair actually absorbs the product, all the cuticles are closed and it reflects the light. That's how I think about it.

Shine to me has a wetter look than sheen. Shine glistens and sheen is a little duller.
I think most natural hair has a lower sheen than shiny relaxed hair for instance.

Most 4 a/b hair has a sheen, most 1-3 hair has shine.

My hair is a 3, but it has more sheen than shine
My best friend has the same hair type, but her hair really shines.

I saw a girl today and her hair look healthy but it didnt have bling bling shine but it didnt look dry either. So now I know she had sheen..
