If a stylist is very negligent in caring for your hair to the point of causing damage to your scalp, how can you go about 'reporting' them?

Thanks so much in advance for any advice.

Your State's Board of Cosmetology??? Probably get on your state gov.'s website to find it exactly. I'm sorry to hear of it.

I agree with reporting them to the BBB and cosmetology board. If they work out of a salon you could also let the manager/owner know about it. If you feel bold enough I would also tell the stylist themselves that they are doing an unacceptable job.

Sorry to hear about the scalp damage.

I agree with the previous posters. If they are licensed, they report to a state board. The BBB will be a tremendous resource for you too.

Michigan.gov has a link to the board of cosmetology. Not sure how much they can do outside of visiting the salon for inspection and verifying license validity but if they can't help s/b able to point u in the right direction.
