i love my FHI but i have noticed that after i flat iron my hair will feel silky but dry if that makes since. but i just bought the hot sauce today so that should help.
also today i just bought the 1" CHI original and the chi silk infusion so i will see how that works. i also have the paul mitchell super skinny balm so that may help the flat irons work better too.
How is that working out for you in terms of the Chi Silk Fusion?

I'm on the look out for a new flat iron! Any revies on the h2pro? I wanna try that out so bad. It's like the only flat iron I see whenever I walk in the beauty supply store.

I'm sub'n too. I got the Conair steam iron, but it doesn't get my hair str8 like i want it. I will keep but I want a regaluh one for that pin str8 look. I've been doing my reasearch, so help me out y'all.
I'm leanin towards taht Paul Mitchell Express Ion, but if anyone has and suggestions feel free to pm me.

I need a flat iron that works great on natural, 4a/b hair. There are so many to choose from. I am so confused!
I just ordered the Sedu blow dryer, 1/2 inch and 1 inch special from Folica and got the email that it shipped today. I will be posting reviews and pictures over the Christmas holiday!!

Thank you. I am in the market for a blow dryer as well, so I will definitely be on the lookout for your reviews.

I just purchased the CHI 1" w/the black handles... I'll see how that works.. If it don't I'm taking it back... Purchased the GVP from Sally's didn't like it and returned it....

What flatiron do YOU rep? FHI

Which model is it? Runway!!!!!!

Why do you love it? Because as DSD stated it gets your hair silky straight in ONE pass! Love it! WORTH.EVERY.PENNY.

Are you relaxed, natural or texlaxed? I am relaxed with lots of body!

I rep CHI soooo hard. For life. I purchased the solia and that mess broke! Granted, I dropped it, but heat protecting products are slippery-- hello! I've dropped my CHI like 5-7 times and it's still alive. It gives me hair that blows in the wind and sensuously moves with me even if i just move an inch. I do believe that part of flatironing is technique. I watch hairstylists very closely and have learned how to flatiron hair with one pass, without lingering, with maximum straightness. I don't play around when i flatiron. I really only flatiron once a month too, so I make sure it looks damn good.

CHI, baby. Nothing else. FHI performs like the CHI IMHO.

I love my original Sedu. I recently tried the new Sedu Revolution and it's has nothing like the original imo.

I am really impressed with the Sally's GVP Chi Flat-iron.

I have used my maxiglide for the past couple of years with satisfactory results. Last month when I made an emergency purchase of a flat-iron, I was like DANG!!!!

I won't touch that bulky maxiglide again.

The jury is still out on my HG curling iron. So this thread is uber-helpful for me. Thanks OP.

But I will say, I had the Maxi-Glide and it worked too well. It straightened my curls so well that it took months for them to get back to normal. I couldn't really wear it curly for a long time.
It was a nightmare.

I love the GVP by Sally's but yesterday at the salon she used a iron by Global Beauty....and that worked wonderfully too. I googled it and it cost about 100 bucks.....i had not heard of it before....
