Has anyone heard of Marhaba Black Henna

Hi Ladies,

I wanted to color my hear and brought it, just wanted to know if you ladies ever heard of it?

Yes i've used it once before and i loved the results, it makes your hair really dark. I would use it again though and it made my hair really soft and pretty looking. You can take a look at the pictures in my fotki under the 2008 february album. That's a few days after i did the Marahaba black henna.

Thanks Sunshine, I was scared at first. I think I might have put too much water because it was not really a paste, the box said to use three time the water and I did, but it was watery

I thought black henna was dangerous because there is PPD (sp??) in it. I actually bought a pack of black henna 2 weeks ago and eventually started searching on how to use it, all I've found was information about how dangerous it could be ... well I chickened out very quickly but if eventually you find more positive info, please let me know cause I really want to try it. BTW, the allergic reactions can take up to 3 years to show up, according to what I've read over the internet

You gotta use the Indigo powder mixed with henna. That will do it. But I don't know exact mesurments and recipes. I do know that if you use Indigo by itself it will be like a blue black. Plenty of ladies on here use Henna and Indigo, I hope they chime in.

Hopefully your scalp will do just fine, but if you are nervous you can try to find more info online and see what you do to prevent allergic reactions... hope you the best
