My Story:
Okay, I did my BC while I was in boot camp in 2006. Could not really do much to it then because we were not given a lot of things to care for our hair. When I left there; I was in a school for like a month and a half and I got a few products but I didn't really know what to do with my hair still. After I left there, I went back to my hometown, and got micro braids. I received orders to Italy, so the entire time I was there I wore micro braids back to back with no breaks...(after joining this forum I understand now how terrible that is).
I have never really known how to do my hair, I have always just gone to a salon or had someone do it out of there home. I found out about LHCF from a friend who is on here around this time last year when my ship pulled back into the states. I started paying more attention to my hair over the course of this year...switching to wigs instead of the braids (keeping my hair moist and platted underneath).
Okay, the problem I am experiencing is living in Washington state, the weather here does not seem to agree with my hair/skin. I have been experience a lot of breakage, and less growth. It's really thin in the front and really thick in the back.
My hair has reached barely shoulder length since 2006. So, I have been thinking, and I have decided to go to a salon for my first relaxer and then every relaxer after that I will do myself.
Please, Please, please...I need all of your help, advice and support out there as I am just so tired of my hair. I want to be able to enjoy it and not dread it.
Here is my plan (a few ideas):
Sorry so long!!

Here is my plan (a few ideas):
- (I will be experimenting with Aphoghee products)
- I will stretch my relaxer at least 8 weeks...maybe longer if possible
- deep condition at least once a week (in the beginning) w/ heat
- Thinking about utilizing sew ins to help with growth...
- Co wash a few times during the week for extra moisture ( I know I will need it)
- Little heat (experiment with rollers)
Sorry so long!!
