Awwww thanks! I was shell shocked to see my name up there!!

I saw that vid when someone posted it in a thread a week or so ago.

I see these kinds of videos and hear these type of convos on this board and others and I am usually indifferent.

For some reason I just...I dont know. I felt like saying something b/c I think its so ridiculous.

The video wasnt all that bad actually, but for some reason it just moved me to say something.

I was sure I was going to get a lot of negative feedback tho but I'll take whatever may come.

ETA: I am going to Mississippi - on a research project. I can't wait to go to my dad's hometown..:)

ETA: And I have to say that in agreeing with SAL statements, I'm not defensive. The argument is just tacky.

And this is coming from a natural head. Not a "converted" natural head, a LIFELONG natural. It's never we as the lifelong naturals that stir up this much drama about relaxed v. natural, it's almost always the "converts". Interesting.

I'm not making fun! I swear!

I've lived in Detroit my entire life, but I went to school down south. I have no idea why, but when I get around my southern friends I tend to get a twang or drawl, here and there, ya know? Same thing happens with my NY friends.

And that's just on the phone. :lol:

I know you arent making fun. I just foind it so odd that county people call me country when they country as all hell too! :lachen:

I live in Geechee Town and I am praying I dont get it.

I hope I am not insulting any Geechee people by saying that. :look:
 
"another line of division". I agree that the whole natural vs relaxed debate does cause this. I agree STILLALADY! Everyone should do their thing and not judge others!
 
First of all, WONDERFUL video. I'm going to be subscribing as soon as I figure out what the hell my password was.

Second of all, before coming to LHCF I was not even aware there was a debate about this.

Third of all, you are SO RIGHT about simply answering people's questions. Before coming to the board there was no way on this green earth I could see myself going natural. I realize now I had issues with my hair and didn't know enough about it BUT after learning as much as I have I am now 8 months into my transition and loving it.
