I'm about to take the plunge and finally do this. I'm going to order from www.hennaforhair.com and I was just wondering how much you all use? This site says that one bundle only covers about 3 inches of hair. That would mean I would need a bunch of bundles for my hair. It just seems like an awful lot. Do you really need as much as they say to cover your hair?

Thank you for your help! :)

I need 150g... but I just use henna and orange juice. I don't add conditioner or anything.

100g will dye short hair.
200g will dye collar length straight hair.
300g will dye shoulder length straight hair.
500g will dye waist length hair.

That's from mehandi.com.

For your first time, make a little more than you think you need. It's better to have more than you need than running out. The excess freezes very well :yep:

I use about 300-350 grams. I add a little conditioner, but not much.

You can always freeze any you have left over.

Good luck! Take pics. :)
