I'm lovin the curls! *(Lots of Texture Update Pix)*

Sooooooooooooo 6 months into this whole transition thing I don't know if some of you remembered but I've been obsessing over what texture I may be since I started always asking questions about it well I'm back! So any ladies want to guess what my texture is now 6 months shoulddddd be long enough to give a good idea...well I hope.

This is my everyday look doorag with headband over (work) and a cap over that. So this is the only part of my hair that shows. If some of you remember I cut the perm off my head in this section of the back there's some thread I made about it here

Then usually if I want them popping I'll do it like this

But lately being obsessed with the spirals I'll just do it like this with my finger.

Here's the side wet with crap on it before I put my doorag on

And by the time I get home and take the doorag off

Andddddd one day I was doing the megatek thing so I made a part in my hair and noticed this thing hiding out in the cut chillin..

this really makes me feel good because i was just about to make a similar thread about my own texture. i'm only about a month post, so i'm not sure how my true texture is really coming out (not enough new growth. for me, anyway). but i've been taking good care of it and i love how it's growing in! it's so soft and strong, i love feeling the waves with my fingertips! i plan on getting braids soon to prolong the time until my next touch-up!

My canon a560...Canon's are the best! I used to take some pretty nice pictures with my 2mp canon this one for these pictures are 7.1mp.

Your texture looks like mostly 3c, and your SO's looks like mostly 4a.

Hair typing confuses me, so I can't help really. My initial take would be a 3c, especially in the nape, but I see some people are saying 4a. I also think it'd be easier to figure out the sides and crown if you had the hair in that area as defined as the nape, but I know that will be hard until you cut the relaxed hair off too.

Lol now I'm even more confused, because all this time, here I was thinking my hair was 3c, then last week, 3c/4a, and now I think a little 3c / mostly 4a/ a little 4b, depending on the area. I give up.

But I did want to say your hair looks so pretty! I love the color too.

I really want to cut it now but then I knowwwwwwwwwwwwwww I would be mad with no kind of length so I'm trying to hold off until May because I can't do anything with it now besides keep it wrapped up and I'm getting sooooo tired of that..the whole twist thing wont work because of my permed ends and I'm not doing the cornrows anymore because my edges seemed to thin out when I had them in a few months ago so I don't know what to do at this point.​
