I would leave my braids in for up to 8 weeks and this stuff had my hair sooooo soft and manageable after taking my braids out. I bought mine from a local beauty supply store for about $6.00.

I think the leave-in braid spray by Better Braids is better than the herbal one. It prevents ANY itching and is moisturizing.

I love Better braids spray, but prefer the 'unbraid' version, which is just heaven on my hair as a regular moisturiser.

African Pride Extra Shine Braid Spray is the best braid spray I've ever used! When I take my braids out, my hair feels ridiculously silky and soft! I think the extra shine formula has more silk proteins (than the regular African Pride formula which it is awesome as well) in it to make my hair silky with some shine. I've used the better braids but I didn't like because it leaves a residue on my hair. I've also used African Royale braid spray which I love but I love African Pride more.

I've never used the Better Braids Spray but the tea tree in it sounds kinda good.

I also use African Royale BRX Braid Spray. And Love it, Love it.

I did not like the quality of the African Pride and also African Royale is black owned where African Pride is Not.:nono:

I've used the Better Braids, it was so-so. I like both ethe African Royale and African Pride. Right now however, I just use my own mixture of aloe vera, glycerine, and SAA in a bottle. Its great! It gives me sheen, slip, moisture and conditioning in the right balance for me. I don't think I will be going back to commercial braid sprays for awhile.

This thread is right on time for me, since I'm doing C&G this summer and there is NO room for mistakes. So I wanna know too ladies!

Hi there, what is SAA?

I've used that spray before, but I switched to, the John Frieda Daily Nourishment Leave-In Conditioning Spray, it works wonders for me but only if used on a protective style!! I use it on my buns now

I've used most of the Better Braids products. I prefer their spray leave-in as my daily braid spray over their actual braid spray.

But my favorite Better Braids product is the spray shampoo. I acutally spray the shampoo on my dry hair while I'm watching tv or something, get in the shower and rinse the shampoo out, then follow with the spray leave-in. It's less stress on my hair to do it this way, and it cuts out some of the time I have spend in the shower with wet braids.
