I really think I'll be sticking with both lines. I'm such a sucker for deep condishes and the store bought ones just don't cut it for me. The banana brulee is next on my list!
See, this is the boat I'm in...I LOVE dc's and while I really don't "need" anything, especially since I just got a gallon of Hairveda Moist 24/7 for cowashing and I still have both of my 41 oz tubs of SitriNillah, I really do "need" some more dc's :look:. I keep eyeballing some of the others from Shescentit but 8 oz? That's 1, maybe 2 applications :ohwell:. I know the banana brulee lasted my one and a half times. Half cuz I ran out and had to use something else on the other side of my head  I am heavy handed w/product though...

Yea girl, BJ has the capability of doing gallon sizes, just doesn't have that part of the site up and running yet :yep:. Don't even talk about being jelly, I just need one day to get in your stash and play in everything  Well, with everything you have, two days :lachen:.

I think I'll be sitting around @ midnight on Thanksgiving ordering products.... it's your fault I ordered some My Honey Child last week :spank:. I'll be taking inventory and snapping photos of the rest of my stash and reorganizing so I can make room for my other stuff!! :look:.

Shescentit is awesome! I was very impressed with what I've tried so far. I have yet to try Hairveda but now I'm on my way to check it out and see what they have. I'm not giving up my Shescentit but I'm willing to take a look at Hairveda.

Ok I'm sooo curious....and torn between the two at the same time.

which would one best recommend for a relaxed head? and which products?
I'm buying something this weekend, and don't know where to start....

Eisani, they have sales on both lines. You know I'm mad right???? lol
Lol I'm sure! Here I am trying to convince myself not to buy anything and all these sales alerts keep popping up in my face. Just disrespectful! I meant to :spank: u for that Fortifying Mask shout...now I gotta get it :lachen: My flesh is weak and while I should be packing tonight, I know I'll find my way online to get some ish...

Eisani and BostonMaria, yall both hursh!! Why I got some miss jessies yesterday, my sedu AND I'm lusting over hairveda and shescentit!!!

What did you get at Miss Jessie's? I thought you didn't like their stuff.

Put it this way, I have a love hate relationship with the products. Okay, when I transitioned they worked well for me. Then once I started getting all of the great new, undamaged growth at the top of my head, the bottom still had the scragglies there and miss jessies worked like doodie on my hair. Now that I cut it, I tried the meringue again the other day and got some fab results. But everything is working much better on my hair in terms of stylewise since I've cut it.

see? i have the curly meringue in my hair. so i got the rapid recovery and silkening stretch cream to try. my inner pj beast got the best of me. i really need to name her.

Oh, as for going to their salon? I'd be DAMNED to let them charge me so much as $100 for a service when I can do my hair for free!~

for those who did not catch the sale Shescentit is having free shipping on all orders over 50.00

I have a big question...I have never used shescentit at all, and I just recently started using hairveda, I would like to know however, for those of you who use the shescentit, what products are really moisturizing for the hair, and who likes the fortifying mask? Please let me know...Because I'd love to try it out...I like using only natural products and Ayurveda stuff on my hair. So let me know naturals, what stuff you adore from shescentit and like why, and what it did for your hair (with hair type) please :).

I need to name my beast, too. Paula the PJ? Intentula? Shirley ain't comin home early? I gotta think about it
I'm just so leary of Miss Jessie's products, with the exception of the Baby Buttercreme...your hair came out nice w/the Meringue though :yep:.

Jesus take the wheel...I know I shoulda stayed out of this thread!! Especially when I kept seeing Eisani and Empressri popping up! :lachen::lachen::lachen: I'm on a budget, y'all! In a minute, I won't have any food at the crib, and I'll be emaciated, but my hair will be on point! :wallbash::wallbash:

Lemme go do some work. I need to just leave my wallet in the car when I come to work, that way I won't be tempted.

I really need to do this and separate my products from when I'm wearing my protective styles vs wearing my hair straightened.

I just realized I have a ton of products and they all have different purposes. I need to get them all together do an inventory and then store them according to purpose.... :scratchch !!

Thanks for the inspiration!!

I think subconsciously that's my intention.... to be skinny with beautiful hair !! So I keep buying hair products, pretty soon I'll have no grocery money!  Then I'll a toothpick with pretty hair...

Don't even try blaming poor ol' Empressri and me for your PJ tendencies :giggle:
You know u hold it down well enough on your own lol.

I'm glad I inspired somebody because I dang sure haven't motivated myself yet to make a move :lachen: I look at the stuff and get so overwhelmed, I just walk out of the room.

On another note, I really do like my shescentit stuff :yep: The Avocado conditioner was really nice and I actually used less than the Banana Brulee and was more satisfied. I love it as a leave in too. Yummy! My hair was really easy to detangle, which is always the true test. Its a light weight cond that I'd order again. I like the hair butter, but still prefer my End All. Olive and Orange I'm still deciding if I like it. My hair was kinda dry afterward. I still don't think u can compare HV and Shescentit though, apples and oranges.

i didn't really like banana brulee (although i don't know if i gave it a fair shot) but i really love sitirinillah (especially the scent) i like the shescentit shampoo though. i have not tried the amala rinse though i plan to next shampoo. so far i'm leaning towards hairveda mainly because i love the scents. i didn't really like the scent of brulee.

I see there's a an almost equal vote for both line of products with shescentit only up by a nose:grin:. Turns out that both lines are great I see. So decisions, decisions....I think I need to go read the whole thread huh? Aww crap! Didn't really wanna do that:wallbash: :ohwell:.

I have not tried Hairveda yet, though I'm very curious. But I've order 3 batches so far of schscentit and I love it. I've tried the fortifying mask, seyani hair butter, moisture mist and green grape leave in's, jojoba hemp shampoo, avacodo rinse, banana brulee and orange and olive conish.

Reviews:
Fortiying Mask is by far the most moisturing condish I have ever used and it smells wonderful! Hair so soft and bouncy.
The shampoo is not like a shampoo at all it's so gentle and moisturizing!
Seyani hair butter I have it now in Sweet Rain, smells great it's so whipped so it's very light and fluffy, perfect for keeping ends moist.
The leave in's are great, however use sparingly, they're very concentrated.
Love the banana brulee, but be careful you will be tempted to pull out your spoon and have a taste, it smells just that good!:spinning:
The avacodo condish, I know some people don't like this, but before it was avacado condish it was avocado rinse and that's how I use it after the shampoo and deep condish I put this on for a about 1 minute and rinse, it leaves my hair so silky and soft.
The only one that I wasn't impressed with was the olive and orange condish, wasn't very moisturing for me.
Hope this helps someone!:yep:

very hard to decide between these 2! Both product lines have some stars in their lineups, BUT I have actually raised one product to Holy Grail status and I have NEVER done that! It's the Hairveda Sitrinillah Masque. :yep:

I have items from both lines, but so far I love hairveda's cocasta oil, avosoya and sitri nillah. BUT that avocado conditioner from shescentit is nice!! I used it for the first time yesterday and loved how my hair felt when I rinsed.

These 2 reviews were very helpful, thanks ladies.

Well, I am quite biased for Hairveda !. I'm relaxed and I will be 17 weeks post as of tomorrow. My first stretch ever and no problems at all. This is what I use:

Moist Condition 24/7--Co washing
Moist Condition PRO--Light protein
Vatika Frosting--pre poo
Cocasta Oil--sealant
Sitrinillah--DC
Almond glaze--grease my hair, lay down edges
Hydrasoft spritz--use for my "wet" bunning
Whipped Baggy cream--daily moisturizer
Whipped gelly--I airdry so some days I put some of this in my hair to define the waves. I do this if I don't feel like bunning. I also use this to lay down edges.

OT
Ayosoya--Body oil
Whipped Shea Aloe Mousse--Body butter

My hair looks and feels different. It feels like butta!

Wow Shay, thanks for the response sweetie. I love to use shea butter and oils on my skin as well. They go on sooooo smooth and keeps my skin feeling nice and soft all day:yep:.

Ive always liked shescent it seyani butter. I just ordered the jojoba hemp conditioner, avocado conditioner and of course seyani butter. Now im not sure what to get from hairveda. I have the sintrilla(sp) and almond glaze in my cart. what else should i add? :look:

ETA: Ok i added the Avosoya oil and Cocosta oil

I have both lines and for me hands down SheScentit does more for my hair than Hairveda.

I love the cocasta oil, but I use it on my body as it did nothing for my hair.:lachen:

I use shescentit products from start to finish and my hair is very happy. The first time I used the products, I had a ton of compliments on how pretty and shiney my hair looked. That was all I needed to know the products worked.:yep:

I use the jojoba poo then the protein mask for 45 mintes no heat followed by the brulee for 45 min under my pibbs. I spray some green grape leave in and use a bit of the hair butter and rollerset. Once I'm out of the dryer, my hair is light, full of body and gorgeous. I use the butter morning and night to mosturize. A little of the products go a long way. I also have the avacado condish as well. Love it too. :lick:
