SO cannot stand weave of any kind on me
. I doesn't like the hump with the long ponytail. He cannot stand me with bone straight long hair. He very opinionated on what he does and does not like
. However, he thinks that different hairstyles work for different women. I appreciate it though!

I was just watching that episode too! My man can not stand when I wear my buns either. Its because I rocked them everyday for years. He's just sick of it!glamazon386

My SO doesn't like dreadlocks, fros of anything past 3b, or short haircuts on women with the wrong bone structure (which is understandable). He's got worse perceptions of black hair than most black WOMEN. It makes me mad sometimes, but whatever. It's just hair.
To answer the question a little better I know he gets tired of me pulling my hair back, but he knows better than to say anything negative lol. Plus he knows I'm growing it out.

Yes, ma'am. I moved to Pgh, PA and at work, a girl comes in with rooster hair. And I do mean ROOOSTER. It was some kind of short weave that was feathered (forgive the pun) all over. The front was poofy and kool-aid red then white with tip feathering towards the ends in a curve and it moulded towards the back with a rooster tail. She obviously thought it was stylish and cute. It screamed, and I mean blood-curdling, GHETTO WEAVE! I usually hate saying things are ghetto. But honestly, her head was a chicken. I tried to maintain my composure in a medical setting but it was honestly very difficult. And I misread the thread...I've never ever wear that style.

Well, no my SO cares nothing about how I wear my hair. He always tells me, "As long as its neat, I dont care."

^^^ Yeah, neat and groomed is the preference. He won't admit it but he prefers my hair long. I chopped it off from beyond BSL to above shoulder and he acted like he didn't care. He knew he did!
But his most hated styles are weaves and braids with added hair. I've never done either...yet...

He does not like weave at all, I didn't believe him at first until he didn't comment on it. He loves the hump mixed with a bun. He also isn't too fond of short hair. So when I did the BC he commented on how cute it was (only cause he is in the doghouse).

I was an extreme weaveaholic, he hated it but he's like well if you like it, I like it ... whatever makes you happy crap, but on the other hand says why don't you wear your own hair?

The style my boyfriend doesn't like is when I stretch my relaxer and I look like a hott @ss mess, lol...he just says "hmm aren't you due for a relaxer" lol...the last time I got my hair relaxed he said "wow your hair looks good, maybe you should get it relaxed every week", when he said that I thought

my so doesn't like bangs...says he can't see my face. he has no prob with weaves, wigs, etc and has been asking me to get braids(i tell him he is so 1992 and i am not janet in poetic justice lol--he's older than me and wants to see me in the long cornrows from back in the day--uh no) it does make it easier that he has no prob with all my diff looks/changes but honestly i wouldn't change anything for or because of his like or dislike.

hubby HATES weave. Hates it. He loves natural hair.. and he is loving my braid outs. He just loathes fake hair of any kind.
