I still have some. I gotta do something with it...can't just leave it sittin' there. But there is a huge difference between baby hair and a full on finger wave of the hairline a-la-Chilli IMO.

They are just really fine short hairs around your edges. I have them on the nape of my neck too. They are really fine and straight compared to the rest of my hair which is curly. I guess they got the nickname baby hairs because they resemble the baby fine hair that babies have.

I love my baby hair on my nape area. I'm not sure why the relaxer never ruined the texture of it. Its very straight and soft.
I know people that have shaved that hair area and it grew back rough

Doesn't everyone have baby hair?
No head of hair that I have my hands in didn't have a few fine hairs around the edges regardless of texture.
My baby hair very fine and more loosely curled than the rest of my hair, it doesn't grow very long... even my bf with type 1 hair has short hairs all around his hairline that are much softer and more fine than the rest of his hair.
I gel down my baby hair daily. Otherwise, I would have what they refer to as "peas" all up in there
Now, I don't gel down a broken off hairline and call that my baby hair like I've seen so many people do.

I have it. I sometimes will groom it if I am wearing a bun. It looks really soft and feminine.

I have a little around my forehead. Never had them when i was fully relaxed though only since i been transitioning. I sometimes gel them down too.

Yes I have it and I love it. I always slick it when I wear my hair pulled back especially when I was and go and wear it curly gotta slick those baby curls

Yep. I've always had it even when I was relaxed. It's funny because none of sisters have it. After awhile I guess that part of their hair eventually grew out. I only slick mine down if I have in braids but other than that I let it do what it do.

i do. had them all of my life. i just use my little toothbrush and water to slick them down.

I love it, especially since it growing in thicker. Don't ask me how, but it is. It set off my bun sets nice. Gives a egde to it.

I have baby fine hairs alongside my temple and forehead area..I see it now...I never saw it before...I guess the monthly perms were so strong they never allowed it to grow.....

No, everyone doesn't have baby hair. I know my sisters don't.
As for me, I have it, and I don't really like it. I do gel it down sometimes, but it doesn't match the rest of my texture. It looks odd to me.
