You're not weird. I always wondered what happened to her and what her hair would look like...still gorgeous.

I enjoyed going through her web site and seeing her paintings. I love the colors she uses in her artwork, it's beautiful and her site is well designed.

Thanks for posting OP.

Wow, nice, I like the art! And I'm glad to see she's still around, doing her thing - last I had heard, she became a minister.

Wanakee was not only a pioneer in the black hair care industry, when she cut her hair to only several inches and then growing it back again to waist length with her hair care system; Wanakee was a huge model in the late 80s and early 90s when more black models were gaining notoriety.
I am glad to see her back again.

Best,
Almond Eyes

Wanakee was my sole inspiration to learn how to grow my hair years ago. She has beautiful hair!

Wanakee was my first hair idol. I used her system when I was relaxed & grew my hair to the longest it has ever been. I've googled her before but I could only come up with random things from the past. I'm glad someone found her.

I love her art, though! 2 bad I can't afford it....:ohwell:

Just yesterday I was on the hair oil website and I wondered what she was up to. Good to see that she looks healthy happy and still has GREAT hair. Thank you for finding her.
