Yep That's exactly how it was done. Hair is held back by one of those accordion plastic thingies wrapped twice and the hair was randomly divided into sections and wrapped around fingers and then pinned down. I learned this from Lorraine and Sengschick...oldies of the forum.

Not to sound crazy but you have the perfect head shape for buns. That's a compliment. They are so cute.
