Hit: Aveda Phomollient styling foam

This stuff is INCREDIBLE! I bought a small bottle for my trip to St. Tropez last month. After swimming, sunning, and pooing, only 2-3 pumps was needed for incredible shine, slip and light hold! It's excellent for airdrying since I didn't bring my hard dryer (of course), and my hair dried with lots of body! It has honey, too!

It has awesome memory! Even after working out and not feeling like co-washing, I could moisturize and seal and then pincurl. The next morning, my hair is awesomely curly with lots of shine!

Small size $6
Regular size $14
Refill (same size as regular) $13.

Misses

Aphogee balancing moisturizer:nono: left my hair very dry, they need to rework this formulation. It does not provide what it should after such an intense protein treatment

Hit:

Hairveda Sitrinillah Conditioner :lick:

Agreed, Agreed....Agreed...:yep:
*still can't believe I waited so long to use....:wallbash:*

Continued hairbanger:
Pantene BD Mask

These two are like that 1-2 hit squad...

and shout out to Giovanni Smooth as Silk...

:look:

continued hit: hydratherma naturals follicle invigorator. my hair has grown with this in less than a month and really does seen to be thickening up. not to mention the smell.

Hits:

Pantene BD Mask - gave me slip and moisture. Next time I'm gonna add some salt and see what happens.

Hydratherma Naturals Moisturizing Growth Lotion - made my hair (which dried out the next day after washing it AGAIN) EXTREMELY soft. I couldn't stop touching it. Plus the ingredients are great.

Mega-Tek - I think my nape and edges are actually thickening up already. It hasn't even been a month yet. I'm also feeling at least 1/5 inch of new growth, it hasn't even been three weeks since my relaxer. Crazy!

Hairveda Whipped Jelly - smoothed my hair down without making it hard, smells good too.

Undecided:

Hairveda Vatika Frosting - I know I said this was a hit before, but I think I was just caught up in the scent. I dunno if it's really good for moisturizing my sahara desert dry hair.

That's all for now. I've got some more stuff in the mail.

Miss: Silk Elements Lye Relaxer :wallbash:
This isn't the first time I've done a touch up and a week later, my roots are back curly. I'll stick with my Vitale Lye Regular.

hit: hairveda Moist condition 24/7

miss: redken all soft conditioner (although it did make my hair soft when dry, i didn't like the coated feeling)

super mega omg i cant believe it's not butter hits:

pantene r&n mask as a leave-in/moisturizer
avocado oil

thank you and buenas noches.

Hits: Moroccan oil. My stylist used this when blowdrying my hair and my hair has never been softer. I'm buying a bottle of this this weekend.

Hit: mega-tek!!!! my hair felt so soft and strong after putting it on my hair. And as a added bonus, my scalp felt sore. I think its working already:grin:

OFFICIAL MISS: Sabino Moisture Block.

I was on the fence, but after using it according to the directions and every other way I could think of, that stuff SUCKS - well for my hair, at least.

My hair did not get as straight and silky when flatironing, it looked dull, and felt hard after airdrying.

With today's wash, I used my faithful Fantasia IC straightening serum and all is back to normal.

This is the 2nd time I jumped on a serum bandwagon and got pushed off. I am sticking with what I know from now on!

Another another, Surya Henna Leave-in.

I bought it today and tried it today - HORRIBLE. It was like putting water on my hair as a leave-in.

I realize I need thick creamy leave-ins. This may be good as a co-wash product though, so all may not be lost. We will see. I will try to cowash with it sometime soon.

Still looking for a leave-in... :nono:

When I run out of Qhemet Olive Cream Detangler what will I do?!?! The Ghee detangler she has seems too oily for me. It is more of a butter and seems great for shine, but a leave in? I don't know. We will see.

back to my search....:look:

hit: Qhemet Burdock root cream
Amla/Olive heavy cream

(its soooooo good.) i bought the small samples...now i want the big jar..i wish it didnt take forever to ship tho. If i want it by thanksgiving...i better order now lol

AO HSR - I use this after I rinse out the MT - makes hair feel great!
Lacio Lacio - rollersets

Oh wow you got yours already. I'm still waiting on mine. I ordered on the 6th. Hopefully I'll get it before I leave town next week.

hit: hairveda Moist condition 24/7

miss: redken all soft conditioner (although it did make my hair soft when dry, i didn't like the coated feeling)

Wow I think this might be the first all soft miss I've seen. :yep:

I haven't tried it yet.

Major Hit!!!

Sebastians Color Shines in Black Cherry
: I know I'm late but oh well :):drunk:! The color actually took to my hair it is soo pretty! I love it! I'm usually a jet black kinda girl but wanted to try something different.

Anyhoo, this was very easy to apply and not nearly as messy as I anticipated. The consistency is thick like a gel which I really appreciate.

Also, my hair wasn't dry and parched like with Clairol Beautiful collection semi permanent:nono::nono:. My hair was a tad dry but easily corrected with Redken All soft heavy cream.

My hair turned out shiny and soft in addition to feeling strong. I really wished I tried this sooner. I definitely plan to repurchase. I will also try the new Sebastians cellophanes.

HairVeda's Sitrillah-I use with heat 2x wk for an hour. Love the smell, love the thickness, and it leaves my hair so soft

HairVeda's Hydrosoft Spritz--I have a bottle at home and one I keep with my bag. Good touch up moisture. Love that it is a spray but it doesn't wet the hair.

Miss:HairVeda Sitrillah Mask
Miss:Pantene R & N Mask smelled grat but left m hair coated
I loved the smell but it wasn't thick enough or moisturizing enough for me as a DC:sad:

My spritz:
Aloe Vera Juice + Glycerin + SAA + PhytoKeratin + Bioplex NMF in a spritz as moisturizer

On the Fence:
Redken Real Control Mask

Misses:
Redken Real Control Shampoo and Condish, they sucked, made my hair tangle and just didn't live up to the hype. The shampoo was :look: a bit drying and made my hair tangle (stick together)

Lesson Learned: Stick to my staples:yep:

Miss: Joico K-pak the conditioner... my hair was too moist and clumpy. I like to see the individual strands more so than clumpy strands. Guess it would work for someone with really dry hair. :yep:

I'm still waiting to experience over-moisturized hair.

ED, say it ain't so :nono: !!!!!

On the fence: Cowboy Magic Rosewater Conditioner. The jury is still out on this one. I used it to cowash yesterday afternoon after rinsing out my MT and while my hair is soft, I don't know if I can attribute that to this product or my CoCasta/JBCO mixture. Admittedly, I did feel instant slip and softness on the finer parts of my hair i.e., my 3bish crown but the thicker 3c and the 4a patch, Ionknow....I'll update later.

-castor oil
(don't know why I stopped using it...PJ at work )
