How to lock the Hairveda oils pumps...

I am trying to get the pumps back to how it was before I first used them. help

How do I prevent oil from squirting all over the place.

So the close, lock the oil pump I just take the pump out the of the bottlen and push it down, do I need to twist it in some special way.

I thought I was doing it but to no avail, the oil kept going everywhere.
