I don't know what people like that are thinking! If a person IS wearing tracks and someone pulls their hair to check, are they hoping the tracks will fall out?

That's what I don't understand, either. Okay, so if you pass the test nothing happens. What happens when you fail? Seriously, what are their intentions when they do that? To pull out your fake hair? I don't get it.

Exactly. Why does it matter if their hair is fake? People don't have the right to prove them wrong by assaulting them. Folks kill me with that mess. Why try to embarrass someone like that? I just don't get it. :nono: Q

Yep, I agree with all three of you ladies. I think it is so rude. You would just end up embarrassing someone and making an a-hole out of yourself. Pulling out someone's fake hair...

I hate all kinds of weave checks, but this is why the scalp-rub ones don't piss me off as much as the tugging. At least in those instances it can be kept between you two if you have a weave in, instead of becoming shared knowledge with everyone in view. Not so much embarrassment... and the motives always seem more like just honest curiosity than bringing on shame to me, though I am sure most people don't think about what they're doing that much.

Now I had one of those but she was slick with it. It was my girl who does my eyebrows and she did it as she was leaning my chair back. Most people wouldn't have peeped it but I did. To some it would have came off as a slip because it was in one quick motion but I know what was up and gave her the look so she knew not to go any farther. Q

I think I'd be really happy at first when this happens to me. Then I'll be where my goal is.:grin:Then I would pull the U dare touch my hair act.:lachen:
