What is so good about real control?

I had a bad experience with it, I love the smooth down and thought surely I would like it, but my hair was a dry mess after using this and my scalp was itchy too.

I don't know but I did a search and supposedly it's for 'us.'

The Real Control is on sale. I purchased that and the Smooth Down. I'm wondering if I should have gotten the All Soft instead.

QUESTION, do you all use your Redken conditioners as DCs? Because the bottle says to apply and rinse so I didn't know if it could be used as a DC. TIA.

I love to dc with the smoothdown, especially nice when I mix it with the ORS replenishing pak.

does anyone get quick buildup from redken conditioners?..i never bought it b.c. Of the cone in the first couple of ingreds. Do u find that the cone is pretty heavy in these conditioners?......please answer soon cuz i wanna pick up a liter if its good stuff!

* i bought the clear moisture conditioner, and it's excellent as a pre-poo with heat. i sat under the heat conditioning cap with the stuff on for half an hour, and my hair came out soooooooo soft and moisturized.

I know that Ulta returns in up to 60 days, so, if nothing else, you can do a product exchange with real control after the sale is over (i'm devious). Say your man bought the wrong one!!

Daaaang yall, there are out of like everything! I found one last Matrix Sleek.Look condish and grabbed that up quick. . .I'm doing a raincheck for the All Soft and Smooth Down condishes though.

They usually restock on Tues and Thurs. . .so call then EARLY! They will hold them for you.

Personally the only one I like isn't a liter it was redken real control. . but I guess if I HAD to pick one redken color, even if you don't have color it works wonders the conditioner is very moisturizing.

It looks like you like Real Control but there's another one that you like, which is for color, but even if you don't have color, it's nice? Which one is that?

K. My smooth down was nice. My cuticle feels smoother. But my cuticle was smooth enough before. This improvement was not worth me running out and drooling for months, like I was for the AllSoft.

I want two liters of AllSoft.

I can use ACV to get a smoother cuticle.

Are you using the shampoo and conditioner sets or just the conditioner?

I'm wondering if I need the shampoos to make the conditioner 'work' or if I can just use another shampoo.

yep, the real control is included in the sale, too. i called several ultas to confirm.

i then traveled to my nearest one, and purchased the shampoo and conditioner. and also the extreme shampoo, and the color care conditioner.

fortunately, i'm all stocked up on salon hair care products for the next 2 or 3 years !!

Grrl! I was out there at Ulta like a crackhead, knocking on their door at ten. "um, it's ten o'clock!" Walmart does not have all the "flavors." AND some employee told me that they don't price match inside the salon. I am going to try it and see what they say.

I just did a touchup and used the realcontrol condish after the neutralizer and my hair feels !!! It's a great protein condish. I'll keep it and exchange smooth down for Allsoft!!
