^^^oh no, what did you learn abot FNWL???^^^
Thanks. You know I have this on my 'wish list.' But you have me using my JBCO now and I love it. ThanksTheir Avocado oil is refined
its always been my hair's life saver though
but now I want to try unrefined too
Fnwl is cold pressed, Tracee said thats better than just refined, but I'm just wanting to try the unrefined for comparison sake
I think the unrefined has a shorter shelf life too
golden is definitely not unrefinedI recently ordered "unrefined" avocado oil, online, from organic creation, BUT I'm not convinced that it's actually unrefined. I've read that unrefined avocado oil is suppose to be deep green, but what I received was yellow/golden. I emailed them twice about my concerns and the never responded....

always dark green! i have some in the fridge right now and it looks dark green and slightly solidified like half melted coconut oil. it has a distinct smell as well. It is heavier and more "rich" than the refined I was used to using.I just got my "unrefined" avocado oil from organic creations too and I was expecting it to be darker/greener. I've used avocado oil before, it was refined and had a lighter golden color. I'm gonna use it in my hair this weekend and see if I notice any difference.
Is unrefined avocado oil like unrefined shea butter where it can come in different colors/shades? Or does unrefined avocado oil always have to be dark green?

Thanks, good to know! Where did you get yours from?
From the look of it when I got it, it was so "rich" looking, I was afraid it would spoil if I didn't, so I just put it in the fridge out of my own extraness. I'm not sure if its really necessary.Hey Kurlee, do you have to store unrefined avocado oil in the fridge or can you also store it in a cool & dark area? Thanks

let me know how u like it! It's a staple of mine.I've always kept mine in a brown paper bag when I put it in the fridge. It needs darkness for it to last longer.
I received my order today!!
Wow, I didn't even see this thread, but I got some from mountainroseherbs. I haven't used it yet, but they definitely have it in stock.
I'm gonna do a HOT with it, and some other stuff, either tonight or tomorrow.
Honey Bee your hair looks so cute in your avatar. If I had known you liked it I would have gave you a bottle I purchased. I just gave it away to my little bro, I forgot about my sometimeish avocado allergy. It sure showed up every time I tried to use that oil though.![]()
what does yours look like? I was thinking of ordering it from them.Wow, I didn't even see this thread, but I got some from mountainroseherbs. I haven't used it yet, but they definitely have it in stock.

It's dark green and kinda thick looking. Mountainroseherbs also sells a lot of cooking spices/oils, so they use the brand name 'Epicurean Organics', but its still produced in-house.what does yours look like? I was thinking of ordering it from them.
