I know, I know, everybody does but MAN! I made a paste for my face cuz I had a breakout:wallbash: I'm telling you, the NEXT DAY my face cleared up. I've been having a hard time with dry hair so I mixed a little in my conditioner (AOHSR, Wen & a little almond oil) and my hair was like BUHTUH. My curls popped, it was so soft (sigh)...I love this stuff. I've heard of mixing shikakai in condish but does anyone else mix only amla in theirs?

This sounds like a good tip!! Thanks for sharing. I have never really focused on the benefits of amla powder for the face, I know it says it will help your face on the box, but I would have never tried it on my own. I think that I will try it tonite since I have about 4 packets of amla powder sitting around. I am also finally going to try using tumeric powder.......

Oh wow I never tried it on my face. I love it in my hair. I haven't used Amla powder in a few months and should buy a box soon. I can find it in my area for about $3.

i dont know about the powder but i pre pood with warm amla oil and i like it. my hair is really soft.

Amla is the bomb. I use the oil "and let me tole you sumting" it has amazingly cleared up my sons psoriasis on his scalp!

The powder is very moisturizing. Its a great alternative because I can't stand the smell of Amla Oil.

I know! I mix mine with thyme EO and rosemary EO and it cuts the smell. But it still has that mediciney smell now that I've added those but not as strong...

Thanks for this post mamauv2. I haven't used my powders in a while. They're sitting in my upstairs bathroom cabinet and I've almost forgotten about them. Maybe I'll try this trick tonight and see how it goes. How much amla did you mix in your conditioner?
