K yaw'll, got me a digi cam (Nikon Coolpix L16) from Wally World last night (horrible, terrible customer service), but a sista was fiending. Made the bigger sock bunner, got the digi cam; forgot to do it at work yesterday. Tomorrow go to my 1st cousin's funeral. Think I'm gonna do the half bun (I think that's what it's called); bun up high with hair hanging down on neck/back. I'll get someone to photograph it then. The house where I live there is nowhere for a "nice" photograph (eye-rolling smiley would do niecely right here). Maybe I can get one outdoors during these Fall, last days with half decent weather.

I have no business in this thread because my hair is WAAAAY too short for a bun. I just wanted to say all of the buns are lovely and I can't until I can bun.

Tried a tiny 2 dress sock bun & later in the day a restroom visit revealed that the dark sock was exposed! My carefully placed hairs had shifted revealing dark black sock thru my brown hair.

Thanks for the link on the african butterfly clips - those were beautiful. Now all I have to do is get some hair...

K, finally got the digi cam, read the manual and uploaded. Here's what I'm working with:

This is three white, umm, crew socks with one black trouser sock.

Umm, not to complain, buttt, I'm seriously thinking of starting a stretch/whine thread. Dang, if only it would hang to my unstretched length . . . LL stampin' feet poutin'. Me thinks there is like 4 or more inches it would hang [rollin' ma eyes right about now].
