New Bigger Bun, yeah boie

I think I wanna/gonna make me a bigger bun today. Let me find some socks and git busy. My first try I used three socks and couldn't get my hand through 'em, so removed one sock and thus the bun on my Fotki. But, I'm smellin' myself today (or is that Kai, my puppy that I smell??) Anywho, I'm feelin' the need for a bigger bun.



Oh, and just wanted to post and talk to yaw'll this afternoon. Oh get this, ladies, DH went to physician this a.m. for regular visit. They told him to report to the hospital. He called me and was like, "You were right". Uh huh, them men don't listen.

Now, back to my bun,

Join me: post ya buns here. One dude called me "Classy" (umm, I think that's what he said). Either way, they are really neat. I am really loving them and am sooo glad the LH Sistah here showed me how to make 'em.

Here is my current bun.

I'll post a pic of the three sock bun as soon as I do it and purchase another digi cam. I seem to have misplaced mine. It's been three weeks; guess it ain't gonna walk up and come home so I gots to get another one. Just telephoned DD no. 4 and said, "Let's do linner and a camera". That would be let's have a lunch/dinner date.

I make my donut buns by using 2 cotton socks and 1 silk trouser sock. It’s very similar to the way Sistaslick makes hers: http://public.fotki.com/sistaslick/...lbum/protective-style-buns!/how_to____make_a/
The more socks you use the bigger the bun will be, hair length and thickness can also determine whether the bun will be big, medium or small. Buns can be a great protective style and they can help aid in growth retention, as long as you don’t make your ponytail too tightly and as long as you moisturize your hair ends especially before bunning.
