So with the change in the season what have you notice about your hair? Has your hair made any drastic changes?

Not yet. I am probably going to have to focus on moisturizing more often since I now have permanent color too. I think I am going just plug a humidifier up in my room.

I haven't noticed any real changes yet... mostly because it hasn't been a real drastic change in the weather here -- we're still experiencing seasonal weather 60s and 70s. That's probably going to change as soon as we hit 40 and below and then there'll be a need for forced air heat. (Really dries everything out... eyes, skin, sinuses, hair etc.,

ummmm YESSSSS....:sad::sad::sad::sad:

my shedding is getting out of control. The last time I shed like this was this time last year. so i guess this is just my natural shedding time. I hate it tho!...i'm getting small clumps of hair in my comb in which i usually only see 5 hairs:wallbash:

Nothing interesting...same ole same ole. I will be using different products, no more coconut oil and less castor oil. I'll replace it with shea butter and those oils that were on sale on Hairveda, the 26th.
December is when it will get interesting for me.

I am not really sure what my hair is doing but normally this time of the year is great for my hair but here recently it has just basically just started shedding like nobody's business and then I have breakage so I am just basically just going to leave it alone till it is not as fragile I have been just putting conditioner which on the bottle says can be used a moisturizer and leaving it alone. I am going to start adding aloe to my conditioner on wash days and continuing to use my OCT but with the OCT the hair that is not gone crazy is thick and lush looking but that is just mainly at the top of my head but the side s and back of my head are a HAM so I just ordered EDEN products the hair balm and the sampler shampoo set that I am going to start using but I am just tired of the back and forth with my hair and I have purchased so many different products that I probably could have my very own small BSS :lachen: any enough rambling on my hair is doing its own thing right now so I will see how it is Mid October and go from there

It's the time of year that most humans and animals shed, so eventually the shedding will normalize. Let's hold each other up so we don't panic (like I'm getting ready to :sad:)

Same here, as soon as the heat goes on, I MUST up my moisture.

Do you have any extra stress, are you eating right, taking vitamins, drinking water?
I just asking questions about the basics, I would hate for you to be unecessarily shedding.

My humidifier is a MUST. I also bring shea butter back into my rotation. I also stop using humectants.

I have extra stress but have had it for a while so it is normal, only changes in eating habits cut out sugars:look: well limited them I have started taking a multi-vitamin and I have been upping the water and decreasing the soda and sugary juices

my hair is thick so if i start shedding i probably wont notice until i detangle
