Hello ladies

I am a SAHM to two girls and my time has been very limited lately, I have slacked on my hair and do't have that much time with keeping house and taking care of my family to put that much time into my hair lately. So I am thinking about getting braids or a my hair cut into a straight style. I need a small makeover change in my life. Someting quick I could maintain.

So do you think i should cut or braid. I am going to try to post pictures hang on.....

Your babies are adorable :yep:

I think ultimately it's your decision. I can see how you would enjoy having a nice, easy cut... or do you really want to maintain your hair's length?

I would go with braids personally. You basically can't get any more low maintainence than that.

I wore braids for a month during this summer. I washed weekly and sprayed my hair with leave in conditioner daily. When I took them out, my hair was very soft and moisturized.

If you think i should cut can you suggest a hair style, I don' want to do too much just into a style.

o.k. this picture is a general idea of my length of my hair. this is the only LHCF would let me upload. i cut those bangs my self about 6 weks ago

I know i have some damaged too, the one by myself i just finished flat ironing i think. any suggestion would be helpful. the one with my dd i flat ironed in the week but it just looks a mess by the time i took this picture.

i think i could go for a good trim, because i don't think i do a very good job. i was thinking about a style cut and maybe eventually getting braids. what do you all think?

1st off your girls are gourgeous! I have 4 lil bi-racial babies but anywho, please don't cut your hair cuz it is really pretty. If you want a change go for something less perm like a weave, braids,or, a wig.

First off, your babies are absolutely adorable. But I must agree with shadylane21, don't cut your hair because you can repair the damage done to your hair in less time than it would take to grow your hair out to that length again. Braids may be the way to go. Try something with human hair so you can still maintain them as if they were your own hair but with less hassle.

Aww, your babies are so cute. I would not cut, your hair is so pretty. I would go with braids (not too tight though especially around the edges!) or even better twists.

just get it braided, do you know someone that could cornrow for you or do it yourself. i remember when i was taking a break from styling my hair, i would get in cornrowed every two to three weeks. i would change up the design to give my edges some room to breath. it worked well for a long time until i lost my braider's number.

No matter what you do to your hair you will still have to maintain it, especially if you cut it.

If you get braids at least you wont have to be bothered with it so much for a while, but if you get a cut you will still be saddled with the same dilemma that you have now- no time to style it...ect.

My vote is to put some braids in it so you dont have to worry about your hair so much for a while.

Good luck with whatever you decide! :)

Thank you for the advice Ladies and thank you for the nice compliments. You Ladies got me leaning more towards braids. I had them last summer and, my hair really does thrive on little or no maintence, I think. Thanks again. I think i might get a good trim BIG MAYBE and get some braids.

I have nothing to give you in the way of advice... But I just had to say
OP Your profile is beautiful. And your girls are adorable
