Anyone else feel like the water is worse or more harsh on your hair Post Ike? I just came back in town and I promise my hair is crying right now...Anyone?

Sorry i haven't posted in a while :look::look:

I'm back!

Welcome back Brockstar! I'm sorry your water is not so good right now, I hope it improves quickly. I'm glad you're okay though.

im sorry you're experiencing this. have you tried doing your final rinse in bottled water?

I've not noticed any difference but my hair is so coarse, so I might not be able to tell the difference anyway.

OOh... that sucks. I'll have to ask my girlfriends if they notice a difference.

OT:
Brock Star you're from Texas?...originally :look:

If so that would explain the swagga present in your pics :lol:...and if not Houston has done you well. :look:

I hadn't noticed, but when I put my leave-in on I also did a light coat of coconut oil and then rollerset with 2/3 water + 1/3 aloe vera juice. That was last Saturday and my hair is still soft as doctor cotton.

As a previous poster said maybe you could try rinsing with bottled water.

Hope it gets better for you.

I went to the salon in Katy, and I didn't notice a change with the water. I will be washing at home this week though (Houston proper), and I'll let you know if I notice a change.

I haven't noticed, but I have been doing my final rinses with distilled water lately. Houston's water has never been my favorite.

HAHAHAHA No I'm not. I'm from Atlanta. Moved here about a Year and a half ago

Ok, I thought I was the only one. It's like my hair gets more dry than usual, like something ain't right.

BrockStar,I washed my hair Sunday night and didn't notice any difference, but I did deep condition with my steamer. I use distilled water in it so that may have made the difference:scratchch

Houston water has alway seamed a little harsh to me. I think I just need a filter or need to rinse with distilled water.
