Hey y'all!

Many of you saw my thread "my before and after pics" on the health and fitness forum which revealed my 18 lb weight loss. Well a sista has been slackin on her mackin. Eatin ribs, chicken wings and potato salad like I'm at a bar b cue ( and it's only lunch time at work:blush:)

So here's the deal. I am 9 weeks post right now and my new growth is thick! But I put myself on relaxer punishment until I get back down to size. I am currently 167.5 lbs and my desired weight is 160.

I am dying to relax but I have made a pact not to relax until I lose the 7.5lbs! I'm not about to be walking around here with cute hair and a puggy tummy. :nono:Until I cant get my priorities together i gotta walk around with poof on my Head.

So I'll keep y'all posted. Hopefully I'll be posting a pic on a new slim me with hair down my back in about 3 weeks or so.

Um! That ain't no punishment! :lachen:

But for real Girl, why did I think you were about to say you were going to apply your relaxer and rinse it out after you lost 7 1/2 pounds? :look::lachen: Now that would have been relaxer punishment.

Personally life is too hard already to be punishing myself for a few extra pounds...

but I admire your determination. I hope you reach your goals soon!

I think thats a great idea, then when you loose 7.5 pounds you will get two surprises, new body and new hair, I like it :)

lila, relaxer punishment. cute idea. keep us posted.

you know, I tried something like this, my reward was the PIBBS, but I failed girl, I bought it when I was half way there,so good luck ma' I know what it takes.

That is actually not a bad idea. I might have to join you on that. I have already told Monalisa I would hang with her in this stretch but doing this would add some extra accountablity.

You sound much to much like me. I know for a fact, missing a relaxer would not cause me to stay away from This is It.

OP I'm go check out your thread cause this storm has me eating whatever will make me feel better at the time. And ain't none of that routine including working out.

I gotta snap outta this.

Great idea Lilamae!!!! You can do it~ I need to loose a couple pounds myself. I notice the backfat when taking my reveal pictures this weekend :look:.

Sistaslick you a mess :lachen::lachen: She would have had that relaxer in for 3 weeks

That is great, have you tried Manasul Tea (Senna). To me, it's not as harsh as dieter's tea, but does a great job relieving belly bloating.

Congrats on your original weight loss! This sounds like a great way to keep things in check. Also remember to never buy bigger sized clothes!
