One more thing can you please PM me your PW to your fotki...I didn't see it in your profile...TIA

This conditioner always gets my attention when I see it in Sally's, but i just don't care for the ingredients so I never purchased.

It has mineral oil high up on the list, and SLS(why??) :look: And there's not much else in there.

And can you believe I still get it and read the back like it is going to change or something! LOL

Water (Aqua/Eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Bisdiglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, Mineral Oil, (Paraffinum Liquidum/Huile Minerale), Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Fragrance (Parfum), Methylparaben, Eiazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Tetrasodium EDTA, D & C Yellow No. 10 (CI 47005), Tocopherol.

This product was my staple back in the day! I used it for years and then I started getting my hair done for me. I may need to revisit it. :scratchch It worked as I remember....

Yeah I was wondering the same thing about the SLS...its funny because when I put it in and rubbed it, it lathered up. I don't know if I left shampoo in my hair or what...

BTW I read ingredients over and over again thinking something is gonna change in almost every product I own....

Yeah..I don't know it just didn't do anything for me....I thought it would work because it smelled so bad!!

LOL So I am not the only one!! Sometimes I will be in the shower washing my hair and look at the ingredients of even my staple products. Wow. :spinning:

That is odd that it lathered, though. I just may have been the SLS that did that.

I think I will pass on trying it (or looking at it again! :)). Thanks for the review!

Maybe I'll try it again. I didn't know back then that mineral oil was so undesireable. But I think I recall that it did keep my hair strong.

Hey JN!

You know, I don't personally think mineral oil is as bad as people think. Well for me it is not. But if I use something that has mineral oil in it, I notice that it has to have some supporting ingredients to make my hair like it. Like it has to have LOTS of conditioning agents, oils, etc along with it. Then my hair MAY go for it. But if it has mineral oil and not much of anything else, my hair tends to rebel. But, we all know there are exceptions to every rule, and I think that is why this product has be thinking everytime I see it in Sallys.

Also, it just LOOKS professional, to me. The simple container and the Wella name just make me want to get it!

Wow are you in my head??!! I don't think mineral oil is a bad thing either as long as its not the first, second or third ingredient.....

But yeah I really do think just like you when I'm shopping for products..I'm always looking for a professional look or a salon smell in a product. It is key to my purchase. I actually did not even buy the Wella it was in my cousins bathroom and I was eye'n like...oooohhh that looks good, all professional and everything. I wasn't all that pleased with the ingredients...but it looked like it worked:ohwell:

I used to use it regularly when I was a teenager, and it worked fine and smelled good. My neighbor hated it. She said: "It made my hair hard."

No, I think that was Wella Balsam.
